You need to set the permission right, there are several choice to set the permission for sharing files which is different than XP. If don't know set as 'everyone' will do as previous forumer posted.

Added on March 31, 2007, 6:06 pmI had a copy of NERO OEM that come with the DVD burner purchased but it seems like can't install into Vista due to compability issue. It just won't let you to start the installation process.

Anyone facing it?

Until now, Vista is problematic with third party software regarding the compatiblity issue. I still much prefer XP.
A lot of softwares still won't work correctly. There is not much an issue when XP first lauched.

But has not much complaint besides the third party software compatiblity, it seems load faster than XP or just the machine is new. May be need to wait awhile before the drivers and compatibility issues being rectified.

There is no hurry to ugprage from XP to Vista. From my experience, Vista itseld had not much problem, it is more about third party software that facing compatibility issue with it. If can wait then better wait.
If buying new machine then different story. There is not many significant differences between Vista and XP.

In term of start up loading, shut down, program opening, Vista seems like a bit faster than XP.

I do agree Vista is sometimes annoying when dealing with third party software that face compatibility issue but this will soon iron up as the software industry move ahead.

It is just too new.
