I do agree with you. I'm quite fedup with ppl coming in here saying "Oh! Vista is crap because my ram usage is higher" without knowing how the os works and stuff. Bah!

AGREE TOTALLY!!!

Why Does Windows Vista Uses So Much RAM?

Answer:
Windows Vista is much more aggressive at caching things in the background, i.e. Windows Vista ACTUALLY uses your RAM instead of letting it sit idle.

From our experience, Windows Vista uses about half of whatever available RAM you have during idle periods.

When a program requests for memory, Windows Vista will happily give it what it needs at the expense of caching. Hence, don't be worried that you're using up loads of RAM even when you're not running many applications.

Read up ... dun ever complaint if you do not understand how Vista works dummies... or u are better off reverting to windows95 that uses 0mb of ur ram when u idle ..

lol...Article with Microsoft stated then it uses MS ...vista then it uses ME II ..like an amateur's article... but nevertheless if you choose to believe the article then i can safely say that please don't install Vista to ur notebook or pc.

Coz according to this article ME II is cr@p, MS is cheating ur money. So please i beg you all to use either Win98SE or WinXP Pro SP2. Dun use Vista. Vista veri slow wan, useless, no security, no driver, no compability, install office 95 also hang... notworthy.gif thankyou notworthy.gif

As for those who do not believe in this article. Then you are welcome to install Vista provided you have the required Specs and knowledge on how it works as there IS defference with Windows XP thumbup.gif

Already installed la, u sudah makan nasi belum?
U sudah install Vista belum? if Vista dies on you, there is only one meaning, the big N.

Btw, you still use Office 97 and below, lame punya la. Vista is meant for newer generation application. You want to play with old things, that's your choice. Anyways, you can always opt for whatever OS you're comfortable with. IDC.
