QUOTE(v88 @ Jun 19 2017, 10:13 PM) Honestly, I feel 10th gen civic's turbo lag is quite serious, u don't have confidence to cross T junction or turn into the roundabout when your car is at full stop position ...this is quite disappointed .. I think its how CVT behaves, not the turbo lag

QUOTE(hihihehe @ Jun 19 2017, 10:36 PM) quite serious means what? >2sec lag? I can't tell the secs but it is noticeable from standing start, and I still don't get used to how hard should I press throttle to get instant moving fast the car compared to my old NA car, that it moves at once. Next time maybe I should try S mode when come to T junction or roundabout.. This post has been edited by v88: Jun 19 2017, 11:28 PM

QUOTE(v88 @ Jun 19 2017, 11:28 PM) I guess so, CVT always have this rubber band feel when you jack rabbit start. To be honest Civic one is really good for a CVT already, I test drive the Sylphy's pure drive CVT and the rubber banding is even worse.

QUOTE(kitchenaid @ Jun 19 2017, 01:22 PM) Can you share me your tint spec, location and price.. btw wut color does it looks like.. thanks. 4 side windows Centurion RX, front and back w/s Ultra 70. Job done at Setapak Raytech. Price 2k+. as i prefer grayish (obscuring the inside view of side windows), it met my expectation. However need to use Ultra 70 due to VLT requirement. Don't want to run on the wrong side of the law. hope this helps.

I don't have the problem that you described as well. Usually I will adjust the driver seat higher. As for your child, by right 6 yo needs to be on a child booster seat. Not recommended to sit at the front passenger side yea unless really no choice. This post has been edited by Malaysia_Mali: Jun 20 2017, 08:25 AM

I find the seats comfortable enough but you need to get the adjustments right. I had it set perfectly before until a car wash changed the setting. Then it took a while for me to get it back to the right setting for myself. Try playing with the seat adjustments a bit.

Next time maybe I should try S mode when come to T junction or roundabout.. I get what you mean and I feel the same too. My old 2.0 NA shoots off faster than the 10th Gen Civic from stand still but once the Civic goes past 1.5k rpm, big smile mode is on. I think this is a combination of the CVT and the turbo lag at the first 500 rpm or so. In any case, drive safe. Plan and time the entry into junctions and roundabouts properly and allow for unexpected events. Better to be safe than sorry.
