Was polishing my car and found this paint crack at the inner side of my front passenger door. Will HM be able to fix this for me under warranty? Its a 2 months old car and i dont think this crack would happen under my usage as its impossible to knock that inner side of door agaisnt anything..

So I have this small bump on my driver side door panel near the driver side mirror. I have no idea how this occured. Went to service centre, filed a report to Honda Malaysia and they say its an external defect and wouldnt allow me to claim for it.
I will have to pay 400 to get this replaced. May I know if I failed to claim at this service centre, will I have higher chance claiming at a different service centre? Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(celciuz @ Aug 30 2017, 02:59 PM) Oh no... scratched it? Mine also for very minor scratches, do interior detailing then it isn't as obvious now. Have you done tinting yet? Maybe it got damaged during the tinting process where they unclip the door panel. I suspect mine came from there even though mine still had the plastic that time. Yeah i did the 3m tint with Honda. Found the problem only recently. But they wouldnt allow me to claim RM400 for just this single piece is too much for me.. |

QUOTE(KJZ @ Aug 30 2017, 03:05 PM) There is another question that I wanna ask too. Honda is pretty strict with their warranty claims. So i think we should be cautious when the modifications involves major parts. But in the end of the day, its your car so do as you wish Can you actually modify your rim/bodykit/lamp(plug and play) within the warranty period? Coz one of the SA told me that you can't or it will void warranty if something happened to your car. Do you guys just keep the car in original condition without a single modification? Coz I saw a lot of ppl modify their car. |
