very subjective. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, so choose whatever color you fancy laa.
Need to call a few places to get the best deal, but I just went with the closest, coz my company pays for my car maintenance biggrin.gif

Yes, you need to sand the divot by using a very small piece of sandpaper, but i'd advise you to fill it first using the touchup paint kit. after it dries, then only you use the rubbing compound to smoothen the surface. Use the sandpaper if it's still rough.

You'd want to make sure that the sandpaperis rounded at the bottom - use a pencil

Thx for the reply.
I have wax the car before the chip.

Any additional step for me b4 apply the diy?

The EZY touchup have a kit which include all the necessary paints (which include preparation paint).

Just follow the steps in the kit with no extra step?

Thx wink.gif

If you bought the kit, it should have everything you need - including the wax/grease remover.

Wax & Grease --> Basecoat --> Clearcoat --> Rubbing Compound

You may want to sand it later, if you still can feel the bumps. To me, I just leave the bump smile.gif

I still can live with the bump. Can't achieve perfection for wear n tear stuff.

I am worry it will get rust. smile.gif

Thanks for the advise.

1.5Turbo should have been your pick. I never hear regret from users who chose that yet

Hi Sifus,

I just want to make an enquiry, I am sending my car for second service(20,000km)right now and they mentioned that my battery need to recharge till evening. If after charging and the battery is still the same, they will have to replace the battery but I'm covered under warranty. I just want to know whether has anyone encountered this before or is it just me? They also showed me this picture. Any output will be appreciated.

Thanks!

When I sent in mine for service yesterday, SC informed it's a standard check that they'll perform

My 1.5tcp is 1 yr old now. Still feels very excited each time driving it. Probably because my low mileage in it. Only 15k km done.

Being 1st batch, I've changed my ac compressor due to compressor clutch failure and also vsa modulator. Everything else is very reliable and solid. 0 rattling sound and NVH is pretty much the same as day 1.

Still excited about the way it goes in s mode and tackling corners. Still admiring the looks every morning.

My only complaint is no forward collision sensor. Tricky when trying not to scrape roadside pavement. Also the original enkei rims can be made somewhat lighter. Have not changed it because no aftermarket rims compliment the car better than it so far.

Overall 1 yr ownership experience: 9/10

also 1st batch 1.5tcp owner here. have the same feeling. done about 15k km too. My review is that everything about the car is rock solid. Except for wear and tear parts, EO and alignment done during 2nd service, the car still feel as new like first day drove out from showroom. the car coating was done at Regal Valet (Gyeon products) during a group buy last year and I'm happy to report the coating is still gleaming good. Despite NS highway drive at incredible speed behind lorry and all, stone chipping is at bare minimum. Tar and bird droppings can be easily removed. Windows is protected by Raytech security windows film. Absolutely satisfied with the solar heat rejection and smarttag with T&Go placed on dashboard is not a problem when going thru Electronic Toll Gantry. Most 1st batch owners will be renewing their road tax and insurance cover from this month onward.

Overall 1 yr ownership experience: 9/10

hope this helps. cheers!

Drove my TCP last Saturday, noted some rattling sound from the steering part .... Sometimes yes sometimes no , got my car 3months so far no major issue
Except AC water drip into passenger seat and RHS driveshaft leaking

Wondering why rattling sounds appear out of no way
