Honestly, I feel 10th gen civic's turbo lag is quite serious, u don't have confidence to cross T junction or turn into the roundabout when your car is at full stop position ...this is quite disappointed ..
*
I think its how CVT behaves, not the turbo lag brows.gif

Really?

I guess so, CVT always have this rubber band feel when you jack rabbit start. To be honest Civic one is really good for a CVT already, I test drive the Sylphy's pure drive CVT and the rubber banding is even worse.

Hi Guys,
does anyone know what is this features for this black dots on the rear mirror?
planning to stick the dash cam on this area..will affect any problem?
thank you : )

It is actually a "non stick zone" to prevent you from tinting there, this is to ensure radio,IR are able to transmit through. Which if you see at your tinting, it is only up to the dot area.

But of course the thinner films can still tint across without issue.

Just sat in colleague's Civic (December 2016 car), I find his reverse camera very soft or maybe out of focus. Is this normal?

Curious if the newer batches of Civics have the same reverse camera as the City FL... which seems to be soft...

I hope I won't need to wait that long...like nearly half year for a new car...
*
He booked way before the announcement here la... haha so technically his waiting period is less than 1 month after the launch tongue.gif

Which branch is this ? I will avoid this.

I call up some SA, if booking now some say end of July and some say August. One SA says they ramping up production for new CRV, so Civic will be less. I suspect he bullshit.
Hope to book one and replace my old car very soon.
*
I ordered earlier this month (12/6), SA told me 2 months at max for the car to arrive... initially offered me ready stock car but my car plate not available yet ah doi.

Everything below additional coverage is optional. I put in accessories coverage for tint purpose. But can also be used to claim other accessories damages.
*
Accessories refers to what btw? This is for any items that does not come with factory? If like TC fit the LED headlamp, if got accessories will this be replaced with LED headlamp or the original one?

I bought most of the small accessories from taobao via ezbuy. Very cheap and decent quality. Just don’t go for those items that are suspiciously cheap though. Like a few ringgit for a big boot case or something.

But I’ve got a question though. Is a screen protector for the HU really required? Want to get some opinions from the sifus here.
*
Assuming it is the similar quality with the City pre FL model... it will scratch, my wife's City had scratches so I'm gonna put it on for sure biggrin.gif.

I bought the items from Taobao directly already, taking the sea freight since car haven't arrived yet tongue.gif.

Screen protector for HU is a good idea. Do share if you find a suitable one.

Any sifu that can share is also much appreciated.

I decided on this one,

https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a1z09...._u=a1r82o2nd9ca

But I bought two different one at ~ RM12.72 each since I not sure which is glass which is SP haha... eventually will put one at wife's City so its ok tongue.gif.

For those of you who have VSA modulator issues, please get them changed under warranty as soon as possible. That associated parts costs around USD530, so converted would be around RM2300 before labour and GST!

https://www.hondapartsnow.com/parts-list/20...ator.html?PNC=1

Kacau the service advisor as much and as soon as possible to get it switched within warranty period. It also concerns your safety as that part has direct relation to the ABS and braking, can't imagine how bad the consequences if it gets worse beyond the annoying ticking sound.

This site seems to have a very comprehensive catalogue of honda parts, a good reference to go look up. But take note that their part prices are already discounted by up to 30% compared to honda's official price list. Although this is a US website, i believe the parts prices can't run too far.
*
Apparently there was some firmware update which fixed this issue? hmm.gif so they sort of reworked the firmware to cover for mechanical fault eh.

Are you using this? I'm considering this as well, does it work as per advertised? And if the back fits nicely? It looks rather thick, wonder if the center bump able to bend in nicely?

Sorry to see your baby kena hit sad.gif My car also kena hit from the back (minor, but requiring a replacement of the whole bumper)  the week before raya haji in 2016 - just 1.5 months of owning the car cry.gif

VSA, just need to go to the SC and update the firmware. Easy peasy.
Dunno blush.gif 1st and 2nd batch easy coz there was a lull in between the 2, due to the raya holidays - 1st batch delivery was between 20/6/2016 to Raya 2016. 2nd batch was about 1 week after Raya for about 3 weeks. Then everybody lost count edy.

Anyway, the Civic took 2 weeks from launch (9/6/2016) to 1st delivery (~20/6/2016). The latest Hyundai Elantra Sport Turbo - which everybody says will be the death of the Honda Civic sales aka Honda Civic Killer - was launched on 9/6/2017, incidentally 1 year to the day of Civic's launch. But still there are no deliveries that I could find so far... I'm interested to find out why...
*
I think the red color interior is throwing a lot potential buyers off, I was interested until I saw that red interior --> straight booked Civic last month haha! No need to even test drive the Elantra, even if it drives better but I can't stand the interior and no not going spend that money to replace the leather color.

Okay guys, any one using Raytech tint here? Would like to compare if the quotation I got is good or not. Got RM2800 for WS: Ultra 70, side: RX and back: RC.

Also anyone did the headlamp tint protection?

Tender cannot thru online only running number can, need submit document to JPJ branch based on plate you want to tender.
*
Yeah, wasn't sure if I could get 3355 so went with the usual family car plate number since I can confirm it online at RM210 tongue.gif. Went to JPJ twice already, damn tiring haha and been calling up past few days to check if MCY is open or not, Melaka car plate is really slow like snail sad.gif.

Now time to hunt for best loan rates xD.
