Nope, warranty 3 years if I am not mistaken. Try to hard reset, and try again. If still can't, send back for RMA.

Hard reset. Apparently only 2.4ghz facing frequent dc. While 5 ghz no issue. How do I send for RMA? Bought directly from tp link last year

Anyone managed to disable WPS on the Archer C7 V4? I've already disabled it in the settings yet it is still on  icon_question.gif

Only consolation is it will lock when you bruteforce it.  icon_question.gif

Wait, frequent disconnection on 2.4GHz doesn’t sound like router issue, more like congestion and interference issue. Use a WiFi analyzer and check the wireless coverage in your area. Change your WiFi channel accordingly, to the least congested one.

I recently reviewed the TP-Link Deco M9 Plus mesh wifi system.

I think it is the best mesh wifi system in Malaysia market right now.

I never thought I will say this but the firmware of the Deco is so good and it seems like they have a different team working on the Deco. Everything is super polished and the app works really well that I don't think it needs a web interface. It even have support for 802.11r fast roaming.

Unifi compatibility is there and it is configurable right on the app itself. biggrin.gif

But, there's a catch as it doesn't support HyppTV for now and TP-Link says they are working on a firmware update. Unifi Internet do work.

You can read more at my blog here.

I got the same firmware, in settings it shows disabled but when I checked with other devices it's still on. Wifi analyzer still shows it has WPS on.

After rebooting and turning the back on a few times, it seems to be disabled for good. One reboot after disabling/save wasn't good enough which is quite strange laugh.gif Didn't use factory reset.

im using archer c7 v2...bought January of 2016...is it still under warranty?

here's the problem...

1. during heavy dload and upload (torrent/speedtest) the wifi connection seems like no internet connection for 30-60sec and keep doing that until heavy load are off....the wifi connection are still there but there's no internet..what seems to be the problem?

2. wifi speed only 200-250mbps on 5ghz(stand next to the router) while it suppose to be 300-500mbps

if under warranty i want to send in for checking...if not...can i send it for repair?

Just get a new router bro. The answer to your first question is that the CPU of the router can’t sustain the heavy download and upload and your speed goes down because of that, CPU throttling. I will suggest you get a new router. Read my signature, and see list of compatible routers.

Yes, the problem is not caused by the turbo upgrade, but the capability of the router. Good luck. Hope you get it fixed.

Dear sifus, I just bought a new C3150 from Lazada. After setting PPPoe with the correct Username & Password still it doesn’t connect to the internet.

Do I need special firmware to get it working ?

Hi All,

Would like to ask. I have a TIME - TPLINK c1200 and I tried to flash it with EU room however, Under System Tools , there is no "FIRMWARE UPGRADE" option at all.
Is is possible that TIME disabled it? How to re enable ?

Thanks

Have you enabled the Unifi VLAN settings and make sure your router is connect to LAN1 of the BTU for Unifi.

Refer to Step 10 on my blog.

TP-Link routers come with 3 years warranty. I suggest you to drop it at their Lowyat service center. The service is the best there.

Not possible to enable it. ISP routers are fully managed by the ISP.
