Suddenly I noticed that Webe at my area already upgrade their network to LTE. Before this just 3G. Perhaps this will be a good alternative for me in order to do backup for my iphone and ipad while waiting for unifi lite to come here in 2020 (if).

Hi, any authorised TM unifi lite reseller who covers Bintulu, Sarawak?
I want to migrate to unifi lite 10 mbps (rm129 package without free calls). I'm currently subscribing to streamyx 4 mbps Went to tmpoint few weeks ago, they said they only offer unifi lite to rural area only like Tatau at this moment. According to them, my housing area only offer pro and advance package, but no unifi lite coverage lol (are they bullshitting me?) |

QUOTE(ClarenceT @ Jul 20 2017, 03:51 PM) Unifi Lite 10 (NP:RM149) is the upgrade product for Unifi VIP 5 (NP:RM149) under Broadband Improvement Plan 2017. it is almost coming to budget 2018 and yet I am still paying rm149 for vip5 and summore no more contract Unifi Lite 10 (NP:RM149) will not be upgraded to Unifi Advance 30 under BIP 2017. Only Unifi VIP 10 (NP:RM199) will be upgraded to Unifi Advance 30 (NP:RM199) under BIP 2017. Probably Unifi Lite 10Mbps will be upgraded to 20Mbps only in 2019. Double Speed in 2 years as per Budget 2017. Also, SUBB's project requirement is 20Mbps (not 30Mbps). |

They are working hard to satisfy half a million existing Unifi users, it is not an easy job.For marketing side, they planned to launch a new product for existing Streamyx users in mid-2017 . But they were ahead of their schedule and took the orders in April-June. So now they have some angry customers. |

Previously I am using Streamyx 1 Malaysia Broadband package 4mbps RM88.
When moving to Penang from Perlis, TM told my that there are no port of 4Mbps streamyx at my new residential area (Bandar Tasek Mutiara, Simpang Ampat). TMpoint CS at Kangar told me that I need to upgrade to unifi. At that time i think this is their strategy to charge me more from RM88 per month to RM179 per month (I am not willing to terminate that RM88 4 Mbps package yet). So due to no port available TM downgrade my streamyx to 1mbps. Before they manage to install streamyx at Penang. I walked in to TMPoint Kulim and asking about the available streamyx port. Same answer given. Luckily the CS told me they have new offer of Unifi Lite RM129 (without free call 600 minutes) instead of RM149. So I registered for this Unifi Lite and the Streamyx is terminated without any penalty. QUOTE(GameSky @ Jul 21 2017, 11:10 AM) |
