Yesterday I went to TMPoint Kulim for my Streamyx reallocation. Bad news my previous streamyx speed 4mbps are not support at new residence area.. They downgrade to 1 Mbps. The staff proposed me their Unifi Lite package at RM149 for 10Mbps. At first I do not interested because my current streamyx 4Mbps only pay RM88 (2010 package 1 Malaysia Broadband with HP Netbook) .
But after search the Lowyat Forum and found that we can subscribe the package at RM129 (without 600 minutes call free). So I returned back to the TMPoint and request for the upgrade.

Today received a call from TMPoint Kulim and they did thumbprint for verification of subscription. Now I need to wait for 18th June for installation.

My Question are:

1. Do we need to pay any cost to the contractor during installation?
2. Can someone screenshot their first bill, TM staff mentioned that my next bill will show 2 month advanced pay.

Today my turn the Unifi Contractor came to my house for installation. 2 hours taking to complete the task. double storey terrace house and the connection only reached at Top Floor family area because if i request for over ceilling installation there is additional charges because of the fibre optic cable need the cable protection.

Everything good as for now.. speed test only show 9.6Mbps download and 5.5Mbps upload.

Only 8 port only for this BOX
First first serve,,... once full they have to tarik kabel to another pole.. if still full then no new customer can add in

I am now using hypptv everywhere on my Iphone.. but the bad news when I mirroring using Apple TV... the apps not support Hypptv apps (the blank screen came out on TV but the sound only played through the TV speaker.. For netflix or Ifflix i don't have any issue mirroring the iphone...

I am lucky during the installation before Raya, the contractor told me that the nearest pole to my house already full and they check another pole and found only 1 left port for me..

My concern, do Maxis Fibre also share the same facility (pole)

this contractor very bad at work.. they should put white cement to cover the holes.. You can buy white cement yourself today at hardware store.

Fibre will be white at the end of the routing..

How many device we can use for HyppTV Everywhere? My last login to PC show that i am already reach maximum qoute. FYI i used in 2 device at the moment.

Previously I am using Streamyx 1 Malaysia Broadband package 4mbps RM88.

When moving to Penang from Perlis, TM told my that there are no port of 4Mbps streamyx at my new residential area (Bandar Tasek Mutiara, Simpang Ampat). TMpoint CS at Kangar told me that I need to upgrade to unifi. At that time i think this is their strategy to charge me more from RM88 per month to RM179 per month (I am not willing to terminate that RM88 4 Mbps package yet). So due to no port available TM downgrade my streamyx to 1mbps. Before they manage to install streamyx at Penang. I walked in to TMPoint Kulim and asking about the available streamyx port. Same answer given.

Luckily the CS told me they have new offer of Unifi Lite RM129 (without free call 600 minutes) instead of RM149. So I registered for this Unifi Lite and the Streamyx is terminated without any penalty.

I think not possible to transfer ownership.. but can transfer address to new home if port available..

Same with me at first.. web and walk in to TM Point mentioned that my lorong not supported with Unifi but I saw the White TM Box at the pole behind my house. I went back with photos and then they check and try to put my address in their Unifi Coverage system.

Same issue with me.. what should we do...?

Yes I can.... once they activate the Unifi, my old streamyx gone.. TM Reward i have to use TM Reward page
