Just went through some bills I had. Saw charges for TM help desk line. Like I mention 100 is basically going to 1300 which has charges.

I attached a screenshot

My dad made those calls, he said he dialed 100. Not the 1300. I didn't follow up or check on that.

UPDATE: My bad.. the earlier attachment showing another 1300 number. I need to go look for previous bill.

Need other brothers here to confirm then.

If it was charged then it will be very strange since copper line is totally free.

I used to recall land line calling tm number and 100 is free. But there was a point, calling tm helping became chargeable.

Anyway, not sure. Hope others can share their experience.

Does calling 100 appear in the itemized bill?

UPDATE: checking other forum threads. Got mention about this. Mixed answers. A bit outdated 2014.

The thread posts u shared were similar to the picture u had shared earlier. The photo was taken from there? Exact same cost and number.

TM 100 I can be sure that it is not a short code for 1300 no.

It can be called at a +603 fixed line no.

Attached Image

Not very convincing from what you had shared.

Hopefully the rest can shred some lights here.

TM just called me regarding the upgrade.want me to confirm again if i agree to the upgrade eventhou i did apply @thankyousurprise. Made appointment on next monday as they need to send technician to my house to do the upgrade.btw ,im from 50mbps to 100mbps.
My old record also using the dlink orange router.but i changed to tplink c7 myself two years ago.so they will still replace it free?

Yes, they must. If you already have a c7 just ask them to pass you unopen box of c5 (thats the router they gave me during upgrade). You can do whatever you want with the new router. I keep for spare

My foreigner friend gives me her OCC login since day 1 because I will help her to pay bills. I just noticed her service start date has been changed to 2nd June and her speed has upgraded to 50Mbps. I registered for her when Thank You Surprise campaign was up together with mine. However, she's living in an apartment hence she didn't get it much earlier like mine. Looks like she finally got it now.

I will ask her to try her Speedtest later. biggrin.gif

Need some advice, guys. TM guy came and upgrade my internet from 50mb to 100mb today. Gave me a DIR-850L modem and told me that it is much better than my Asus RT-N66U.

Been testing and noticed that the DLink Modem signal not that strong.

Should I stick back to Asus RT-N66U or I get a new Asus Router? Any good recommendation that perform better than DLink DIR-850L.

Thanks.

its "better" because it support AC 5ghz band thus can make use of the 100mbps connection. yeap i got the same problem as u which is weak signal for the default router they gave. as of now i just stick with my asus N router because i needed the signal strength. nod.gif

u can change back to ur asus router if u need the signal strength but mind u, u wont get full 100mbps connection speed with that asus router. nod.gif

Got the 30Mbps to 50Mbps speed upgrade recently, but when I did speedtest I'm only getting around 42Mbps and sometimes less than that cry.gif
Is this maybe because of wifi congestion? hmm.gif

I'm using TP-Link AC1200 from TM but can't use 5GHz cuz I have older laptop.

Hi all,

It is very weird for me. got upgrade to 50Mbps from 30mbps 2 months ago
I speedtest from 2 of my laptops, both give me around 20mbps for download.
However, I speedtest from my iPhone, it give me around 52mbps for download.

Both connecting using WiFi. Any idea on why my desktop is slower?

Just do like just what I did......set dir-850L as AC-only router then use back the old router as mixed-mode AP

My friend's upload speed has been upgraded to 20Mbps but download speed is still 30Mbps. I want her to try LAN now to validate further before complaining to TM.
