If they are sharing same credit limit, i supposed you can, but of course subject to bank's approval.

Thanks for the information.

First, how do we disable CNP? By calling CS?

By disabling CNP,  does this means that online payment won't go through and only physical card swipe will be approved?
*
From what I have read, CNP purchases toggle only applies for websites without one time PIN authorization. Websites that support one time PIN authorization have no effect whether you turn CNP on or off.

Is there any cashback card that do NOT refund in RM XX blocks?

Sample taken from Citibank TnC:
If the accumulated cash rebate is less than RM20 for a particular Billing Month, the total cash rebate amount will be carried forward to the following Billing Month, and will be taken into account in determining the Cardmember’s cash rebate entitlement for that following Billing Month. If the Cardmember has not accumulated an aggregate of RM20 in cash rebates for that Billing Month, the
total accumulate cash rebate amount will continue to be carried forward to the subsequent Billing Month and so forth.

Need advice, assume my statement balance is RM400. After that I have cash rabate and refund, so the outstanding balance is RM350.
Normally every months I pay statement balance. This time I want to just pay the lesser outstanding balance, because I plan to cancel the card soon.
Just wonder will it consider late payment and charge interest?

Cancel it right way after you pay (minus cash back)

Yes that's right. However this is cancellation, have to deduct before cancelling it, else have to refund back to savings account.

Looking to book a hotel and they need my card number via email. They just need it to hold the booking.

What's the safest way that you know to give it via email?

Google giving me these suggestions: Take a picture? Type it in words?

By refund, I mean credit cashback amount.
Citibank pays in RM 20 "blocks" so if it takes me 4 months to accumulate RM 20 cashback, I'll only get RM 20 after 4 months. It used to credit in RM 50 blocks so RM 20 is better now but still takes a while to accumulate.

Was wondering whether is this common practice or is there other bank that credits cashback for any amount within statement month e.g. RM 0.50 cashback.

Did a quick scan through on Maybank's FC Barcelona Cashback card TnC and Product Disclosure - looks like Maybank doesn't have this rule. Can anyone with experience pls confirm? Thanks.

Cops cripple condo post box syndicate

https://www.thestar.com.my/news/nation/2017...-box-syndicate/

KUALA LUMPUR: Police have crippled a syndicate that intercepted cheques and credit cards at post boxes in condominiums following the arrest of five suspects including a woman.

City police chief Comm Datuk Mazlan Lazim said that the group, known as the "Ah Chong" group, would alter the cheques or use the credit cards to purchase items online before selling them for cash.

He said the modus operandi of the syndicate was to intercept cheques and credit cards that were sent through post at letter boxes in apartments and condominiums.

"The syndicate members would then purchase items online that were easily sold for cash such as handphones," he told reporters after witnessing the handing over of duties to new Cheras OCPD Asst Comm Abdul Ghani Mohd Ji from Asst Comm Chong Kok Sin at the Cheras district police headquarters here on Thursday (Nov 9).

Comm Mazlan said the suspects, in their 30s and 40s, were arrested during a raid at about 7pm on Nov 4 at a condominium at Jalan Ampang here.

He said police also seized several MyKads that were believed to be fake, handphones, laptops, several debit cards and credit cards, cheques as well as equipment that were believed to be used to alter the cheques.

"We believe that the syndicate has been active since August," Comm Mazlan said.

I did help my client to book hotel previously. Of course hotel will treat this strictly confidential. Any of the method above would be find, otherwise just call the bank and spell out your credit card detail for them.

i have question about the Complimentary Travel Insurance by credit card like citibank premiermiles or ambank worldmaster.

when there is flight delay or baggage delay, they are not going to give us a fix lump sum compensation but we have to and can only claim for meals and purchase of emergency essential clothing only right?
