i had good experience with imotorbike.
when i was selling my suzuki s750, all other shop offer below 30k, only imotorbike accept my selling price of 31.5k.
I was planning to sell it by my own at 33k, but no takers..
later saw my bike ad selling for 35k.

How bad did u have to nego with them?

Iinm my friend sold to them too but was sitting there for hours before he got the price he wanted

Didn't take long for me.
They offered 31k, I was actually fine with it because thats just shy of 2k from what I wanted.
Added 500 for the heck of it and they say ok so its all cool I guess
Came for inspection and quotation from them, then next visit give the grant and got my money in like 3 working days.
This was done in their inspection centre in Greenwood, Gombak.
No need go to their main branch in Shah Alam

Shah alam is closer for me...might see where else they have offices nearby. My friend said not to bother with them though as it took him a long time of back n forth to get a price he was happy with.

Already put up the ad my for my v1k. Mcm keep getting scammers. 4 diff ppl called me with the same MO n all indon sounding.

MO- saying they wanna sell the bike to a friend...friend dont have the cash but will installment with him...but he will pay me cash. Friend will come n see the bike n im not to discuss price with him.

You can post on Carousell as well, it's not the most popular for selling vehicles, but I often used it for smaller items to great success.

was in the same dilemma as you previously when i wanted to sell off my old bike
ended up selling it with imotorbike glenmarie (cause theyre the only one open until 8pm)

surveyed a few bike shops, but they only offered around 2.3k - 2.8k
imotorbike offered 4.3k after a few rounds of negotiations.
straight away thumbprint and handover.

bike mentioned / previously owned is a benelli 249s

Daily and everything. I've stopped driving unless I really need to.

Only way to justify the massive depreciation of Chinese bikes is to ride the wheels off them. Offset with savings in petrol, toll and parking.

Probably be worth scrap value when I'm done with it in another 2-3 years if it lasts that long. Will be 150k to 200k by then.

There is a Tracer GT parked next to my bike, and it sees use only once every 2-3 weekends at best. Truly curious how the owner is willing to dump 60K into a bike that is parked 99% of the time.

I am doing about 4-6K km annually and I am already finding my bike way underutilized. Also big bikes are terrible for rush hour commute in a city... wish I knew better.
