Hi all,

I went to see a 5 years old bike when I open up the fuel cap, I notice the tank inlet has few rusty spot. Is this normal?  I suspect the rider must be knocking on his area every time he goes to refill. Please comment if you also come across this. Thanks.

i actually hated the seating position of the MT09 (tested gen1). foot too far back so everytime brake i feel like gonna do a flip over the handlebar..... most people only think about the body position....but never think about foot position or overall position... so test ride is advised.

Not sure about the mt09, but the street triple vibration damn horrible. And inline 4 > all. Unless inline 6
Most protective would be crash bars of course but the looks of it is polarising. Lower profile options would be frame sliders. Axle sliders and engine covers works together with the frame slider to provide more protection.

I test rode a relatively new street triple last year and the vibration from idle to redline was unbearable to me. Can look around others are reporting it too, the description is that the bars are 'buzzy'
I bought frame sliders from Shogun USA and shopee engine covers. Can't really find crash bars for my bike.
Maybe the mt09 is smoother then. Heard some say the mt09 vibration is noticeable, and felt the vibrations from the street triple myself. My Katana has more noticeable vibrations at higher rpms too but not as bad as the street triple

This one to me best bike for daily commute + weekend ride, as long as you can live with the tiny fuel tank

After work, can go tapao food, do light grocery and masuk box balik rumah so convenient. Perfect daily

Friend bought a Tiger 900. Got rid of it after 6 months. I told him he should have just gotten the older XCX. Nothing more annoying than vibration at your normal cruising speed.

What to do..all want funny uneven firing order mah.

how's the vibration for the tiger 660 on high speed say 150km/h? or will getting a cb650r better in terms of vibration. am still deciding which one to get for long distance travelling.
riding up to genting and back on a single cylinder is tiring for me(hands get numb fast)

The vibrations from the T-plane triple never bothered me. I had Barkbusters mounted since early on, coincidentally ppl say it eliminates the problem.

That said, I know a lot of people who were expecting the smoothness of the old engine were disappointed with the new one. But then, compared to my previous D400, it was still a bloody revelation!

After you're used to commuting with a literbike then try back 600cc you'll see.
There's a facelift added ABS, short-lived but they are out there.

Using a literbike daily, I really feel the power is wasted as you can't really go full throttle without seeing your life flashing past. 650cc really seems to be that perfect balance. Though I'd admit you do feel like the king of the road on a literbike
Damn, around 2 months+ service bike one time. So far no issues on the bike at all after 32k? You ride in a year more than many people in their lifetime

When are you buying used motorcycle what do you need to ask/know in identifying if the used bike is actually in good condition as advertised?

Also any list of which shop that sell used bikes that are reputable? (not lying, know what they are talking about, good service, etc.)

Dunlops are mine, he's on Michelin. Guessing my bike looks more like an old man's bike with the top box and hi-vis helmet?
