Cager on Two wheels seem to have given it a pretty decent review though. Leoncino looks good!

For a 500cc tourer, TRK502 is the cheapest in the class of tourer I think (not withstanding being manufactured in China). RM32k+ u get the side panners as well. Not a bad deal.

Benelli, chances of getting a lemon is much higher maybe smile.gif

the competitor is CB500X,

Trk502 if not mistaken has ABS as standard.

price is RM28888, +gst is ~RM30621

cb500x abs + gst is RM35391

only less than 5k difference.

Weight, TRK502 is 235kg wet, cb500x is 194kg wet full tank.

Not the kind of bike if you're pendek type of a person. 6' or higher recommended for those kind of bike.

I've riden Binelli 600 as a practice/ license test bike, tip toeing a bit but manageable. The gear sometimes still engaged while the meter says it's N. Really stable during emergency braking. Ye the chances of getting a lemon is quite high as I heard quite a few complaints especially the gearbox reliability but yea 3% defect rate is quite normal in this industry.

well, cosmetically? it has better specs biggrin.gif

until it is proven that the features perform on par or better than the honda.

Trk502 has USD fork, twin radially mounted front calipers vs only one on the cb500x

handguards-wht do u call it?, gear indicator, jarum rpm meter, led light all round? laugh.gif

usb charger(i think), bigger windshield with bar for mounting phones etc,

2.5liter more petrol, better ekzos sound biggrin.gif

for those who are new to motorbikes, not all inline twin cylinder sounds the same.

here are some example.

180 degree firing inline twin - eg er6n/6f, versys650, z650 etc

270 degree firing inline twin - mt07, some triumph bikes

360 degree firing inline twin - BMW F800r , benelli trk502, leoncino, bn302

It depends on the bike configuration or structure to be exact. If 800m then it's the same as 600 TNT then it'll be manageable but need to tip toe. I've sat on Ducati Diavel and able to flat footed, now that's good height for me of 5'4" only. Even on my Vulcan S I need to opt for Reduced Reach package which brings the handle like 1 inch inward.

Kawasaki upgraded the ER6N to Z650 to compete with MT07.

In Malaysia, will the new Z650 out sell / be more popular than the MT07?
