I just want to ask, is it true that in Japan the Nintendo Switch is only rm1200 (console only)?
= Are there any methods to buy one and send it to Sabah, and are the transport / freight charges exhorbitant? Taxes by Malaysia customs? |

actually how much is an amiibo usually in malaysia? is it selling at a fixed price, or the price increases over time (due to rarity?). Is it possible to buy amiibos that were released in the past?

It is especially hard to be found in Malaysia since lack of demand. |

Hoard a bunch of amiibos, some could go as cheap as 30 or even lower. Standard price is like rm60 or slightly above. And yes some amiibos are rare and it could go up to RM80 or higher.

Thinking of buying this:

QUOTE(isr25 @ Apr 25 2017, 03:58 PM) Thinking of buying this: Good lord RM80+. A freaking plastic dock with a small chipset and they couldn't include ONE freaking LAN port, have to add this extra ugly dongle thing. Funny that the location of my dock couldn't even connect the internet despite that my PC wifi receiver, ps4, Wii U and literally every devices is sitting in the same area. Basically when i dock = offline play only, been thinking of finding a cheap one.http://www.lazada.com.my/d-link-dub-1312-u...09961.html?ff=1 Seems like it's using the same chip as Hori's official adapter - ASIX AX88179 |

QUOTE(denzel88 @ Apr 25 2017, 04:50 PM) Yea. I got it for rm1200 in Japan. After tax deduction. Thank you. At least now can confirm its far cheaper in the motherland (that means need tax reduction to work as well, so might as well one go and buy every darn accessories to take full advantage)Maybe someone could answer ur 2nd question. QUOTE(greyshadow @ Apr 25 2017, 05:40 PM) usually can be shipped via 3rd party forwarder, and customs sure kacau one when reach our shores Noted with gratitude. I was thinking of having a friend (if they ever go there, or return there) to grab me a unit, unbox, get all the necessary accessories like screen protector, soft-shell cases, a carrying pouch, etc, then bring it back nicely in a bag. I don't really mind the unboxing experience.so shipping + customs tax it's more or less just slightly cheaper than buying locally, minus the warranty IMO, it's only worthwhile if you can buy there locally and bring it home yourself |

oh still trying to get jp unit? good luck lol.
most big retailers are implementing lottery whenever they got their weekly restock for weeks already. granted that right now it's in new fiscal year so no idea how fast is the unit production now (have to wait until Thursday for financial briefing). past weeks restock was generally around 50k units, but considering mk8d release this week so probably higher unit restocks starting this week. of course this might not applicable to small store outside hot spot, but from anecdotally, I've heard it's pretty much the same as for online, good luck tracking whenever a site have new stocks |

QUOTE(xGalGirlx @ Apr 25 2017, 10:19 PM) Did you unbox it in Japan? Or you brought the whole sealed pack back here? Yeah definitely unbox then start gaming over in the Japan since I'm not selling it. Anyway, it's better to unbox if you are bringing it back to home country.I'm thinking to get one when I go there next month most probably. Well, I think you can give some try. According to what I noticed in Osaka and Tokyo, Bic camera might have high probably as compared to Yodobashi. Every Bic camera I visit seem to have more stock for every gaming stuff. just my thought If you are lucky like me, they might just release a extra stock for sales . Got it a day before lottery sales day in Bic Camera. Before tat, I was thinking of going for lottery sales...lol |
