Did you try to lodge a complaint with CS? If Lazada is not online transaction, then what is? Anyway, using app it seems that has problems.

Called CIMB for Taobao Hangzhou issue and they said nothing much can be done as posting is done by merchants. They want me to contact Taobao to address this issue.

So, in short nothing can be done until someone can find out how this posting is done.

How about the Lazada case then?

At least Lazada is app and desktop version, still easy to differentiate and I'm sure they will ask you guys to contact merchant too.

Understood that no cash rebate for PTPTN, MYEG or any government payment.

Can I confirm with anyone that can get cash rebate for below items with CIMB Platinium Cash Rebate? (I stay in Johor Bahru, from the MCC list on post #3, I found mostly are available only in KL?)

1. Petrol 2% CR in any petrol station(Shell, Petron, Petronas), swipe at anywhere in M'sia?
2. Grocery 2% CR at supermarket (Giant, Tesco, AEON), swipe at anywhere in M'sia?
3. Mobile bill payment 2% ? (Digi, Umobile) (Postpaid)?
4. Utility bill payment 2% ? (TM, ...etc)
5. Online spending 5%? can get if buy from MPHonline or Popular online?

3. Only applicable if you sign up for auto debit with mobile telco provider
4. Only applicable if you sign up for auto debit with utility provider
*TM and TIME is not telco nor utility provider.
5. This is very subjective on how CIMB recognized as Ooline. Some mentioned that CIMB use the merchant name to judge.

The main concern is the terminal registration.
Generally, it is restricted to groceries section only.
Departmental section is not eligible.
