Yes, I heard from CIMB Staff, both are different.

One is CIMB Clicks and another one is http://www.cimbbank.com.my/en/personal/index.html

Also heard that, both are given out different Voucher, CIMB Clicks give RM200 (Need to spend RM1000) whereas CIMB Bank Website give RM150 (Spend RM500), wonder if anyone get Voucher before, not sure if this is true or the staff just simply give the wrong info to me.

Not only that, they said if you have Kwik Card, you can't apply for CIMB Lazada Card (They said this one not launch yet)???

So, I don't know if you have Kwik Card, is this will affect your application for other type of Credit Card too??

Also, my doubt is, the Voucher from Lazada is given by RM150 or separate like RM50 x 3 Pcs? As if it's separated, I believe that you can't use RM150 on one transaction, you have to purchase 3 separate items...Some other bank will give full amount instead of separate amount of Voucher.

Anyone here got offer for applying Petronas Card to get RM200 Petronas Voucher before??

Hope someone who got apply and received some Voucher can clarify us on this.  rclxms.gif

Thanks.

I know Maybank got like 20 days (?) notice prior to changes announcement to be effective. Hence last time there was changes in TP (or was it 5% weekend rebate) they postpone the changes to meet the 20 days notice.

Is this procedure only by Maybank or set by BNM? If set by BNM, can actually cc BNM to demand the new rule to only effective 20 days upon date of announcement.

ADDED : Oops just saw the letter dated 12 Mac, guess can't argue if so.
*
although dated 12 Mar, they published it late on the website doh.gif

no worries, you can refer CIMB Clicks or Statement.

Pay statement balance on/by payment due date (+20 days from statement date).

just want to ask.

How do I know when to pay my balance on my credit card. let say I made a transaction on 1, 13, 15, 16th of the month. will cimb accumulate all transactions  so that I will have a total amount due at end of month (28th), or I need to pay right after the transaction was made?

Thanks. I'm new to credit card
*
highlighted BLUE. that's the whole point of having monthly statement, similar to mobile postpaid bill: use first, then pay the bill later.

above screenshot: refer to your statement and observe the key info in page 1.

here's a simple illustration on the spending period, bill date, and payment due date. below example is based on bill date 24th, but CIMB CR's is mostly on 28th.

Hi guys, where do you check your credit card statement?

I checked under 'E-Statement' for the month of March 2017 & April 2017 but it stated no statement available yet. Also, just found out that my credit card due date is 16th April, means its way passed the due date.

Without a statement, how am i supposed to pay my credit card bill? Just opted for the email statement btw
*
you sure your payment due date = 16 Apr? that translates yours bill date = 27 Mar.

majority of us are on 28 Mar bill date, which is 17 Apr payment due date.

April 2017 statement definitely not ready because it havent reach yet.

if you subscribed to e-statement earlier, you'll get it in the email. since you just opted it, you wont get it until next statement on 28 Apr.

statement availability usually +3 days after statement date.

for you, you should be able to download March 2017 statement. here's how...

user posted image

whether got statement or not, CIMBclicks lists the transactions out online in the portal. all the details are in there. you dont need the actual statement before making your payment to the card.

in fact, how did you know your payment due date is 16 Apr anyway?

Under credit card, there's an option that shows your current card with balance amount and due date etc.

Safe to say that i'm way over the due date if i make a payment today?  mega_shok.gif Usually I'll look through my statement for a final due amount for my credit card before making a payment, same goes with my other cards because the portal's amount is accumulating until the balance is paid in full?

I went through the same option as you, but my statement for March is not appearing / available for me to open at all.
*
without estatement, still can look thru the detailed transactions in cimbclicks.

no, the portal shows you the exact Statement Balance, and payment due date. just ignore total outstanding balance.

here's mine:

user posted image

not sure about estatement download, probably you didnt subscribe to estatement earlier, so the pdf estatement is not generated for you. check again later after Apr bill date.

Does this mention in their T&C.  Cause I find it weird to pay for something that is not being statement-ed yet.  Your statement as at 28th is RM600, your cash back is RM30. So your outstanding left is RM570.  On 30th your charge for RM50.00, so or course you will pay the remaining outstanding minus the new transaction RM50 right?
*
1st, cimb did this on purpose by delaying the monthly cb to 29th when the statement being generated. hence statement amount wont inclusive of the monthly cb. this revision was effective July 2015.

user posted image

2nd, cimb's finance charges logic only looks at statement amount, if it's fully paid or not. since they shifted the monthly cb to be posted after statement date, essentially statement amount is still full. also, cb is not treated as a "payment".

heck, i still have -RM30 floating in my CIMB CR card since Dec 2016, cuz i didnt use the card for any other spending laugh.gif

So like try to con customers la....coz if like previously, they HAVE to consider as payment since the amount already reduced in statement, when they switched the date then not consider as payment....hhhmm

But in the FAQ stated this ->[attachmentid=8774429]
*
FAQ is correct.

question is the timing of the cb vs statement amount.

the cb doesn't reduce statement amount which already generated (closed), the cb is for NEXT statement which is due next month.

then this is 1 very weird FAQ....the term "utilized towards payment of the outstanding balances". So IF you are not using your card after the statement produced, so let say you statement balance is RM600, and your outstanding balance also still remain as RM600, doesn't that make the cash rebate as part of the payment?  Need to talk to CIMB then, or worse BNM if required

Thanks for the info  thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif
*
the max cb u get is not much. don't need to be so worry about it.

you're going to keep using the card anyway. just the cb earned is deferred to next statement.

same like me lor, rm30 cb still floating for few months liao laugh.gif
