Just a dumb question. How to turn on gps on rn4 sd my set? Been searching up n down still didnt find...

Just notice that when battery life 10% and below, 4 CPU core will be shutdown, another 4 core will be throttle to 1689MHz max. SD625 stock MIUI rom.

Never had gps issue before.. dont know how to help..

Maybe with reformay/flash fon will help.

Another problem is if you charge the battery to 100%, it will drain fast so my suggestion just charge at 90% and then stop charging it. Weird huh?!

I just get the phone from Lazada Express today, it came with 42% battery remaining, I spend 5 hours to kill the 40% battery life... running benchmark, playing around, only very slightly warm when running benchmark apps, it is a beast!

So far my case only with waze. Other GPS including papago that don't use mobile data also almost instantly locked gps.
Only waze got issue with GPS.

Same here and becoz of this I hold my decision to get the 64gb+4gb variant. Really celaka! The 32gb+3gb already updated to new update and still the same. Any solution? Tried this n that still the same.

Those who have probs with Waze.. did u use waze and then open another app like whatsapp etc while leaving waze in background, and when u return to waze, the signal is lost, right?

A quick fix is exit (shut down) waze, and then open waze again.

Never had probs by the way.. waze, google maps, here we go.. and other gps related apps, all is good..

Bro, the GPS issue initially was when I flash to developer rom (Android 7.0). But now I flashed back to stable rom (Android 6.0.1), the GPS working perfectly, lock position under 30 seconds indoor, and 10 seconds on outdoor.

Note : When back to stable rom from developer rom, I use MiFlash with flashall.bat to fully clean the phone.

im currently using my wife old s3 mini since both of my s3 gone dead already.
so believe me, this would be a huge upgrade for me even though it's only mid level chipset.

- does the 32gb / 3gb ram would get the same treatment as in the 4gb ram version in terms of firmware update?

- any big different in terms of usage between the 2 ram variant? im not heavy game user (maybe abit mobile legend), facebook for every 3 days. but heavy on browser (i read alot of translated chinese wuxia light novel)

•Redmi note 4 malaysian original set = imported note 4x (AP set). Just pick one with Mi Malaysia warranty since the price is already cheap.

•This phone has crazy long battery life that you dont even want to consider such things lol. I think it can last at least 3 times longer than your current phone.

•No. Unless you are playing games.

• Camera i guess, but i think it will be fine since it is still an upgrade from your phone rite now. And it is kinda difficult to find a perfect tempered glass.

My dotter Redmi Note 3 having no problem. Like your case maybe becoz of Android problem? Old Android probably working well. Will there be any gps fixes from Android in the future? I don't know about flashing ROM.

Anyway to lock in GPS under 30 seconds and 10 seconds outdoor is acceptable. However is there other phone models quicker than that?   

Frustrated becoz of this GPS problem until I'm considering back to square one brand Samsung......
