Wu Feng Pu is right across Housanpi MRT station.. But you can't really see the entrance until u ask ppl there...Those shanty town cloths market is very similar to bangkok Pratunam/ Chinatown...wth narrow backlane streets markets. Cross the road from the Housanpi MRT station, walk pass Uncle Chang Fusion food & u can see an area wth 1960's style 6-10 storey high biz ctr. Those cloths market are surrounded the backlanes of the frontage shoplots...The whole area does not look like modern city for sure..really remind me of Pratunam open cloths market & Bangkok Chinatown QUOTE(AngelLingLing @ Feb 18 2010, 09:59 AM) for wu fen pu there is no direct mrt right? i saw from the previous post have to take mrt then have to take bus? any easier ways? Anyone been to Hehuanshan before? Thinking of adding this to my itinerary.
Any recommended hotel/minsu there? How far is it from Hualien?
English travel books and websites on Taiwan is damn teruk...and out of date.
Thanks.

Price range maybe blw RM200 for 3 per night? Preferred location is in taipei heart. Thanks Added on February 19, 2010, 12:54 amQUOTE(chezzball @ Jan 15 2010, 07:08 PM) I going to Taiwan end of May. Not wholesale pricing & less choice QUOTE(AngelLingLing @ Feb 18 2010, 02:40 PM) ooo thanks thanks~ means no need to take bus? i tot from the previous post they say hv to take bus also~~ means it is like our chinatown also? not a building with many wholesales inside? they open for long hours? any holiday for them? like maybe sunday no open? wu fen pu have got the most clothes there? how about taipei main station? also got cheap clothes around there is it? for others looking 4 cheap hotels, chk pg1 recommendations This post has been edited by stimix: Feb 19 2010, 10:04 AM

I think Wufenpu is too large. Wholesale market suitable for those who like to buy in big bulk. You can reach there by taking train to Songshan Station, juz 1 station frm Taipei Main Station. Exit the station > On your right is Raohe Night Market > On your left is Wufenpu
