QUOTE(stimix @ Feb 15 2010, 07:56 AM) Not on the way but it is the exact station. There are few exit...The closest if I'm not mistaken is exit 6 & Xi men Ding neon light is just above you..Further is the famous red house just right in front of the exit ooo thanks thanks, means it is near to the Taipei Main station =) |

QUOTE(stimix @ Feb 18 2010, 11:17 AM) Wu Feng Pu is right across Housanpi MRT station.. But you can't really see the entrance until u ask ppl there...Those shanty town cloths market is very similar to bangkok Pratunam/ Chinatown...wth narrow backlane streets markets. ooo thanks thanks~ means no need to take bus? i tot from the previous post they say hv to take bus also~~Cross the road from the Housanpi MRT station, walk pass Uncle Chang Fusion food & u can see an area wth 1960's style 6-10 storey high biz ctr. Those cloths market are surrounded the backlanes of the frontage shoplots...The whole area does not look like modern city for sure..really remind me of Pratunam open cloths market & Bangkok Chinatown means it is like our chinatown also? not a building with many wholesales inside? they open for long hours? any holiday for them? like maybe sunday no open? wu fen pu have got the most clothes there? how about taipei main station? also got cheap clothes around there is it? |

QUOTE(cybersim2 @ Feb 22 2010, 04:23 PM) I think Wufenpu is too large. Wholesale market suitable for those who like to buy in big bulk. You can reach there by taking train to Songshan Station, juz 1 station frm Taipei Main Station. Exit the station > On your right is Raohe Night Market > On your left is Wufenpu erm i tot go to wufenpu need to take to Hou Shan Pi station? @.@ how come exit at Songshan~ so near already? |

QUOTE(stimix @ Feb 25 2010, 04:46 PM) Sonshan is the conventional railway station & not MRT. Housanpi is the MRT station. U can decide which one u want. Housanpi is located South of Wufengpu & Songsan is on the North side. South to North probably ~1.5-2km distance i.e that's the size of that 1960/1970 eras flats dwelling/ narrow shops area in wufengpu. So actually both ways also can go via walking distance? Seems like from songshan is nearer? Ty so much~ you are so good in travelling must be rich~ haha |

QUOTE(stimix @ Mar 16 2010, 01:50 PM) The rate at www.xe.com i sthe current world market rate. and currently from that link, I'm getting NT100 at RM10.4235..well u are not wrong to use then as yardstick or even official Bank Negara rate ( I think ~ RM10.50) haha okok =P looking thru it~~ dont get angry har~~ so sorry~~If you can get this rate in any Money changer in Malaysia or in Taipei..I will hv to Tabik u liao haha. So far, one of the best if u check the wawasan link on 1st pg is at RNM10.95. So you know the actual tradeable world market rate is ~ RM10.50 & you wannachange at RM10.95?? By changing US$ 1st & changing to NT$, the effective rate after commission & etc will be ~ RM10.60...U already save RM0.35 by doing this.... Walai ehhh...I explained again...now more than 9999 times liao |
