Any recent news for such volume? It crashed through USD 300 midnight last night. Now already USD 344. Incredible!

Anyway, I'm just enjoying the ride. Not buying anymore. My aim still stands. One ETH at USD 1000!!  rclxub.gif

I've seen this pattern before, a week before the first EEA, price spiked from $12.7 to $15.73, then a mega pump 2 week later

not saying it'll happen again, but this IS China we're talking here.

jury is still out

If you don't mind. We can try setting up a small group. I've calculated that Genesis mining if you have a group of people consistently referring each other for every upgrade, it's actually quite a nice passive income.

they should be separated, and seeing speed to ROI, cheap parts and electricity being key factors, hardware forums should be a suitable place.

Δ Buterin Equilibrium 0.0465 ETH/BTC (161.04%)
Köppelmann constant adjusted for dynamic fees and ice age according to suggestion by V. Buterin, therefore we call it the Buterin Equilibrium, currently at 0.0762 ETH/BTC.

you say leh tongue.gif

61.04% more profitable than Bitcoin miners.

why u wanna waste time to mine.
if u want shift some of your funds to gemini or what I help u trade.
I take a cut can d.

the dips can generate more than 20% per month if it continue current volatility.

mining small scale really not worth it. cuz have to monitor.
so either do big or don't do at all.

I think if locally can't get might as well buy from Amazon and send to Singapore. then u collect from there

Eh no need la - I think you guys have covered way more than enough. Unless you want to see controversial ramblings about fiat and me talking about blockchain, which isn't appropriate on the front page. laugh.gif

What I am currently working now is to evaluate the statement that "cryptocurrencies are a Ponzi scheme". I was able to produce a mathematical representation of a Ponzi scheme on paper, but I am still working on modeling a supply-demand model for cryptocurrencies, which is a lot harder as there are too many abstract variables (e.g. how do we model the supply curve of cryptos, as it is a constant however market supply is fluid). There are some clear cut attributes differentiating the two in writing (mainly, what makes a Ponzi scheme unsustainable, being outflow > inflow, which the outflow amount (could be a constant, or a set of constants) but withdrawal rate over time growing exponentially as more investors come in), so hopefully I will have something to post again soon. tongue.gif

I have been on the lookout for a custom Ethereum mining rig with a 125MH/s hashrate like the one below.

user posted image

Specifications:-

Rig Frame:
Solid aluminium frame.

Average Hashrate: 125 MH/s

GPUs:
6x R9 380 (4gb) PowerColor, Asus, MSI, Sapphire

Power Supply:
850W Corsair gold +
1200w HP custom gold +

RAM:
8GB Corsair Vengeance

CPU:
Intel Celeron G3260 dual core 3.3GHz

Motherboard:
ASRock H81 Pro BTC

Risers:
6x PCI-E PCI Express 1x to 16x

OS / 120GB SSD:

ethOS - Linux Ethereum Mining Platform (supports transition from PoW to PoS)

Enter your pool information, wallet address and you are up and mining in 5 minutes. smile.gif

Sadly, it is out of stock. sad.gif

Sorry, but is this a pure trading-only thread? Genuine question. I'm not aware of that and I thought anything crypto goes since the thread is about crypto currencies?
*
We actually didn't start off with that in mind, but as the early forumers in this thread are mostly traders and investors (as compared to miners), the entire thread's tone was focused on trading and investing only, since the beginning.
But since now there are more and more people joining into the thread, with quite a bit of interest on the topic of hardware mining, I would say that we should separately have a thread, specifically on Cryptocurrency Mining, and have it in the Hardware section, where it should be.
But I personally do not mine, so some of the other mining sifus here will have to take the lead on the mining thread.

MEW is an interface to manage your ethereum addresses

you mean your wallet right? what's etherscan saying? no entry at all?

for coinbase it's instant, 1 minute the latest
