OK noted

so I buy via LUNO and send that ETH funds to Coinhako (hardware wallet?). Is this the correct method?

leave the ETH at the staking pool inside coinhako to collect interest

correct?

No, hardware wallets have specialized chips to prevent tampering and private keys being exposed, they're Ledger Nano S, Trezor and Keepkey wallets.

Luno and Coinhako offers trading and online wallet, but it's always a good idea to retain control of your funds at all times.

Staking pool is currently under development alongside with Casper, once we moved into Metropolis without a hitch, the dev will commit 110% into debugging the Casper contract and its daemon.

Chill mate.
All we can do is to spread the word, and hopefully can give enough information to let the other party make up their own minds.
We cannot force someone to see what we see.
In time, they'll see.

Remember that when automobiles were first invented, a lot of "experts" condemned the invention, claiming that it was a fad that would die off, and that such "extreme" speeds (some automobiles could go up to 20 miles per hour!) would be hazardous to the human body.
They said the same when the first airplanes were invented.
Skepticism is nothing new.

Contact their support.
I just logged in and I didn't observe any issues.

On a separate note......I noticed quite a large difference in buy/sell spread between Luno and XBit Asia.
Just looking at face value, it seems Luno's prices are much better for buying bitcoin compared to XBit Asia.

Luno is just a platform for trading ? The exchange price are set by the sellers not Luno ... unless you are buying directly

Unfortunately, yes.
This is directly affected by the number of users and by extension, the total liquidity on the platform itself.
More liquidity, smaller buy/sell spread.
Xbit Asia's liquidity is just too low.

On top of my 40+ coins, I see some development on syscoin. I need to study more later on before putting in more. Yesterday nibbled factom and syscoin. Might put in more if syscoin looks good.

Factom was one of the altcoins I first bought in February. I think my first 5 altcoins. It never went up much at all until recently. I added yesterday because it was rising 20+% and I needed a bit more to lend out. Haha....

Why I bought so early? I used uncle google "recommended altcoins for 2017"! biggrin.gif

Hehe, I'm trying to discourage people from quitting their job after getting rich from cryptos. wink.gif
Yeah, I guess if job not nice, better quit! However, I still believe having a regular stable work career is good as a whole. I think being rich but floating around doing nothing can be depressing after a while.

True.

But to imagine people retiring from daily job due to BTC gain is insane. Probably they bought them cheap 7 years ago?

Here's the thing, mining BTC doesn't make you money.

People are delusional to think that mining = profit. No it isn't. It's not profit at all.

You start of with a cost, and you will constantly be incurring all sorts of costs.

Your only consolation is that digital currency that holds a certain value AND you DO NOT yet profit (or get money) unless you sell it off or use it to purchase products or services.

Yup.

But to say one can retire from daily job also means that person has a lot of coins and assuming he is selling them off at current price, he can retire. I wonder if LHDN come to kacau if buy properties/assets with that money? haha

I'm still trying to get the gist of all these cryptocurrency things. N00b here.

No point to shop at Polo now. Even though the coins are RED, it's solely due to the fact BTC on ATH. Altcoins are still almost same price. Once BTC corrected itself, other coins will go up.

Waiting for the real crash within next few days.

I am really looking to try genesis mining for 50MH/s @ 1450USD for ETH

and maybe go buy ETH in LUNO once verified

what is the ROI for genesis mining at 50MH/s?  laugh.gif
*
Cloud mining is crap. It's better u buy 3 GTX1060 1060 and mine yourself.
Plus in genesis, u need to pay for utilities /power.
