Diversification is good, however in cryptoland these fundamentals may or may not apply. Cryptoland is crazy

not such thing as fundamentals in crypto investment space,
it's all about technical charts, pump and dumps and how much inside tips you have.

I don't think Remitano is without fee either. All exchanges charge some sort of fee no matter what.
If you're talking about transactions broadcasted on the blockchain then yes, it requires a transaction fee paid to the miner which is about 0.00045200 BTC ($0.56USD) on average according to https://bitcoinfees.21.com
*
they charge 1% fee if you are buying BTC, and 0 if you are a seller.

If you're a miner yourself, I'm assuming that you'll be running your own node right. Which usually means that you use Bitcoin Core wallet within your PC and not other third party wallets like blockchain.info

If you are looking to exchange amounts of BTC to MYR on a regular basis, I'd highly recommend you to join BTC Malaysia Group 1 on telegram by sirxl look at his signature

want to ask, if i want to invest miner to dig 4.5BTC permonth.

so want to choose which wallet is better? and easily to exchange BTC to RM without higher transaction fee.

*now i am using Blockchain, but when want to exchagne back to RM, i need deposit to Remitano, but the transaction fee is quite high.
*
At current bitcoin difficulty rate, if you want a gross revenue of 4.5 BTC per month,
you'll need 21 units of AntMiner S9 (cost 44100 US Dollar or 196289 Malaysian Ringgit).

Take note other costs ie labour, electricity, internet are not included.

If I were you, I'd rather buy some POS coins and stake them on VPS.

It's not people don't want your money. It is because there's no platform accepting MYR. Maybe in the future if ethereum becomes more popular. wink.gif

ETH, please wait for me!!!!!

why is it scary ?

Out of curiosity, will there be any problem when someone hacked our 'floating' money?
*
Users usually get hacked when they leave passwords in unsecure areas like their email accounts, forget to enable 2FA, passwords written on a piece of paper and placed on the table etc.

Please educate yourself on IT security management and it should be fine.

I'm very impressed......this was a pretty well written guide.  thumbsup.gif
I have taken the liberty to correct some typo errors and added in some minor elaboration, and added the entire article into the first page.

Kudos to kmarc for the V1 guide, very useful for newbies.
As for Luno (formerly BitX) , I've been using them since 2014, definitely one of the best exchanges in Malaysia.

I had a similar experience.
I used to think that XBit Asia's prices would be a problem due to lower liquidity, but in that particular case, XBit Asia still offered me a better price than Luno.
Not sure whether this is always the case, but in the few times that I checked before I bought, the situation was the same.
*
Prices will fluctuate differently between exchanges as the real makers/takers are the exchange users and not the exchange per se.

If say Bitfinex/Bitstamp is priced at MYR 5000 and sellers on Luno prefer to sell at MYR 5100, then I feel it's still a good deal if the price is rising due to rumours/news.

Don't remember, I use that platform for trading.

Can set threshold to buy / sell.

Popular alt coins will appear there, at least that exchange has been around.

I lost a fair bit at Mt Gox before, stupid case.
*
Hey - did not know Goldfries was in here, I have you on my FB list.

Well Mt Gox was a big thing and even some of my banker friends lost money.
Hope you've recovered some incentives from Kraken.

Looks like I am missing a big opportunity here. Don't even know where to start to get some and how safe it is as my knowledge on these is zero!

Hope still got time. Which I feel is fast running out...
