Youre being too negative on my comment.
Cant you see?
You holding ETH, would not want 'bad news' like this.

ETH will be less liquid bcse of this. That scam appeared on Cointelegraph!

In order to get adopted, ETH must circulate, velocity of money. If this continues, no sane person will risk depositing ETH to try new wallets/exchange/ICO, new tech, new use case. In which ETH 'community' is trying to find!

It's the opposite of whats happening on Bitcoin years ago. Scams etc. The thing is it was underground. You dont want the same thing when going open public.

For miners, gas price alrdy very low. Now illiquid means even less earning.
But sure, I know you can say ETh price going up as consolation.

ETH miners actually earn negligible amounts of fees, cause of the short block times and all.

how about this nugget of news, anything negative you want to share?

how about this too? Actual gold!

I don't think it was explicitly pointed towards ETH but general crypto scams..

Guys, how do I buy ETH coin? I signed up for Coinbase, and it says

Coinbase is currently not supporting in Malaysia. Where else should I purchase ETH?

Am I doing it correctly? I signed up for LUNO and deposited : for example RM 1k.

Then I proceed to purchase BTC of worth RM1k.. Now I got to look for a platform which sells ETH.

Can see light RED sea in coinmarketcap. BTC and ETH badly need a correction. Don't mind BTC at 2000 and ETH at 150

So you trying to buy a cheap coin that got potential to fold like x5-x10?
Nobody knows that. You need crystal ball for that.
Some ppl here got lucky sometimes that also after they do their own diligent research bout the coins.
And hold for it to get high.
Stratis jus got pumped x4 since last week. So nobody know if it gonna go further up or stay stagnant like that for years or months.
Before this all alts kinda stay quitely low and doesnt even make much +gain%.

Agree with Sharul above. I remember I bought SiaCoin (10k units) end of April for less than RM 100. Today, the same coins worth RM 650++. This is just profit on paper. Real profit only when I decided to cash them out.

For me, I buy cheap coins in multiple of 10k units with the money I can lose when forget about it. Maybe in next 10 years time, they either worth a fortune or just dust. Pure gamble.

For investment, I choose ETH. You no need to rush into buying in bulk. Start slow. I started with 10 ETH and kept 5 for long term. Now, slowly collecting ETH again with the profit I'm getting from BTC training via Luno/CEX.

Start slow and steady. Along the way, you will pick up alot of knowledge on crypto.

The way I do it, buy BTC from Luno, transfer to Polo and buy altcoins there. Yet to trade on Bittrex.

Interesting read for those looking for long term investments.

Alternatively I do follow this sub-reddit for news.

Managed to get on the stratis train last week, doubled my investments from 2btc to 3.6btc biggrin.gif

Currently holding 50% ETH, 20% SC 20% STRAT 10% bitbay. Looking to put about £100 into one of those three monthly depending on which one dips more at that time.

You can choose either Poloniex or Bittrex. Send your bitcoins from Luno to those exchanges, then from there you can purchase ETH using your BTC. If you plan to HODL then I strongly recommend you to use hardware wallet if the amount is >5k.
