You're incredible.
You seem to always have an unlimited amount of cash flow to keep buying altcoins.
You're right, that is true under normal circumstances.
However, during abnormal spikes and dips, FUD causes the masses to transfer their wealth around within the cryptocurrency sphere.
For example, when bitcoin spikes, a paired altcoin should go down in the same percentage, but because many weak investors try to ride the wave, they start selling the altcoin and move the money to bitcoin, which causes the market cap of bitcoin to go up and the market cap of the altcoin to go down.
This imbalance is the mega sales opportunity that the sifus here are talking about.

That's why it's so important to do a fiat comparison before you put your money into any coin, so you know whether fresh money is coming in or out of the coin.

Noted, very good analysis.

The situation can be vice versa if bitcoin drop?

so it is also prudent to keep in reserve/float some BTC/USDT to buy altcoins when their prices dip.....

Anyone here got Tier 3 verification on Kraken?

Been like 2 weeks+ for me since I got the email saying my Tier 1 is verified.

No la. Past one month I only bought BTC once and had to patiently wait for the Red Sea. Also sold off some to accumulate BTC when everything green. It is a recurring cycle that so far has never failed to happen. Just have to be patient and hold down itchy hands especially when everything green.

I'm probably not going to pump in more cash anytime soon. The cash I put in is probably my limit that I'm comfortable with. Also because I can't transfer out my altcoins from exchange due to no hardware support. Thx to rising altcoins, just letting my altcoins "auto-cruise" and cashing out a bit hopefully at the top to buy again hopefully near the bottom.

Edit : ETH at 250!!!

yes, many sifu here practice these method.

I still learning in crypto trading.

So far, my portfolio is 55% eth, 20% xrp, 20% stratis, 5% siacoin.

I think stratis can become next eth. They are compaltible with #c and .net framework with Microsoft backing.

Yes, exactly.
Also, just to throw a wrench into the equation, you have to keep an eye on the overall market cap of all cryptocurrencies in general.
That is the best indicator of whether fresh money is being pumped in.

And I noticed that the overall market cap just breached USD 100 billion today.
Exciting times.
I'm not quitting my day job yet, but I sense that my ship will be coming in soon, in the near future! biggrin.gif

Just a hunch, I feel that anyone who join Eth mining pool today may have same experience like yours to Bitcoin.

Whats the effect of difficulty bomb to new miner?

Bitcoin is reaching all time high.

You guys think it's still ok to go in now?

Feels like buying a few bitcoin for investment.

Personally, I believe yes.
But I also recommend spreading your investment slightly and get some ETH.

BTC showing a triple top. Just converted 20% into USDT. Either way if BTC skyrockets or corrects again I have a feeling it won't be a good altcoin day

Can't use MYR. Luno still safe bet to buy BTC and transfer to other exchange to convert to altcoins.

I've tried signing up for a Luno account many times last night but I could never get the email confirmation at all... sad.gif

The bomb gets slightly delayed due to increased hashrate, with metro fork, difficulty will be slightly tweaked to allow hybrid pow/pos to coexist.

When full PoS comes, existing miners just point hashrate towards zcash and the next alt boom.

Were you expecting pandemonium?

Contact their support.
I just logged in and I didn't observe any issues.

On a separate note......I noticed quite a large difference in buy/sell spread between Luno and XBit Asia.
Just looking at face value, it seems Luno's prices are much better for buying bitcoin compared to XBit Asia.
