Seriously i always miss out the bandwagon sweat.gif

Back then I used to use BTC to pay for stuffs. It was trading at some $20 back then. I had to purchase some dollars in LR then get it exchanged into BTC via btc-e

Then sooner it started trading at $100. Same I did not purchase for investment purpose but rather to spend it. LR got shut down so I had to use PM to have it exchanged

Over the years my friends and I still talk about BTC occasionally, last discussed on whatsapp was this january when it was valued at around 900..

So I came accross a thread in /k talking about BTC surging high at some 1.7k dated May 10, today. Only if I had seen it earlier I would have looked into ethereum sad.gif it was only 80 man!

I'm starting off by buying BTC first. So on first page I'm seeing 4 options for us. Checked the rate and their rate is so high. On the other hand coinbox is rather low. I used to use it alot couple years back.

Can I check with anyone here if the site is still running good (trustable?)

EDIT: logged in my old account but couldnt top up anyway

In many countries, bitcoin and other altcoins usually sell at a premium.
I have found that Malaysia is usually about 3 - 5% higher than the global average, sometimes even up to 8%.
Countries like Japan and Korea can go even higher than that.
*
I think localbitcoin has a premium of around 10%, with each BTC sold at as low as 10.5k. Thoughts? Its normal or we've got better sites?

Does this imply that in the first screenshot that it's price is about to go down due to significant amount of people trying to sell off their coins?

Still trying to learn something here

What do you feel about the chart?

Or it simply doesnt not resemble anything?

I've got a btc transaction taking more than 9 hours to have it confirmed. Fee was 260+ satoshis per byte. Is there any issue?

I'm using all sorts of wallets, parity node for ICOs, Coinbase to shuffle coins, and cold storage choice would be a couple of Nano S.

We had a flash sale earlier, it went as low as $160! What a bargain! Now at $192, these swings typically need a few days or a week to resolve.

Buy little bit every week or month regardless of the price, there's plenty of reason for further growth in the near future.

Panic buy is more likely, there's no reason to stay below $200 for ETH.

Should I hold tight onto ETH or actively trade in other altcoins? laugh.gif

35-45% paper gain from only a day yesterday. New to crypto. this is more far more risky tho

Why not both? Buy and hodl most steady coins like BTC and ETH, while trading 10% of it into alts

GF made a 50% profit within a week, netting a nice  RM8500 stack of new ETH
*
My capital is rather low so 10% is too little, I guess. I segregated it into 6:4 so my first ETH purchase is currently in queue

Assumming that 8.5k is made from the 10% alts your GF capital is 170k. Wow brows.gif

Yes, ETH will attempt at yet another ATH.

The guy is confident we'll hit $250 before May ends.

Either way it'll be nice to see how Bitcoin responds!
*
Would it affect ETC too or they are a separate thing?

I wouldn't touch ETC no matter how attractive they become.

Anyhow that just me; when ETH rises generally you'll see ETC going up too.
*
Reason being its too unstable?

Say the change % in ETC > change % in ETH we'll have better chances of multiplying it since the value is smaller and hence my assumption of greater change %

but ETC has been a roller coaster

ETC and ETH are both diff and yet same thing. just diff chain, but the founder of ehterium is in ETH. so expect future development in ETH, for ETC it is a totally diff management and developer... let see how it goes, but so far... eth rise, etc rise, eth drop etc drops but there is a delay... this is due to the supply and demand of eth and etc which is whole another chapter. play etc or not, its up to you... long run, eth >etc... short term gain speculation = pandai pandai la.

Yeah sure, but why polo? You plan to trade it?

Don't tell me you store it there....

Is it highly insecured? I have changed my BTC into some ETH and plan to keep it on exchanger for sometime.

Storing in clean local PC vs storing with exchanger
