For the LAN, that's probably the max even with new router. At times maybe your speed test can show 48-48. But for wifi, try to improve your home wifi design by analyzing first how to improve link speeds around the house before jumping straight onto a new wifi router without analyzing actual needs in the first place.

This is because sometimes, newly purchased router actually performs just slightly better than stock which doesn't justify then new purchase. If you opt for things like powerline then use wifi ap, then maybe you'll actually be improving the network quality on average as linkspeed can be improved.

got upgraded from 10mbps to 30mbps, 58200 area, but the upload speed can't even get up to 5mbps

Many not getting upgraded. TM is doing their thing again.

Just to check with all the current 100mbps subs. Any new offers from TM (Reducing fee to level with 50mbps subs up to 100mbps) ?

If not, planning to downgrade to 10mbps by next month. Paying RM293.75nett monthly for what. I dont mind paying this amount if all 100mbps plus foc upgrade to pay same amount.

But now this is BS to the max. This anak Ramly never look into this matter. Really Bastard to the max.

mine is just nearby that postcode, connection seems ok.

Using speedtest the first couple of times after upgrade, the readings were a bit dismal. now, its mainly 25-28 DL and 9-10 UL. Did you wait for optimal server to be identified before clicking "GO"?

Tested couple of times with different server and this is what I got mostly.

rm169 without gst. few months ago tm giving free upgrade to 30mb, then now they upgrade again.

yea.. once my unifi upgraded to 50mb then i will shoot an email to mcmc.
what a stupid move by them.

It was VIP 5 and there was 30 Mbps promotion so I signed up for it knowing I'll be getting the free upgrade.
