Hi folks. I'm having a strange behaviour on my HU. When I start my car and then press "OK" for the safety warning on the HU, I go to the main menu screen. But immediately one of the applications open (recently it's Navigation, but sometimes it's Phone and sometimes Music). I have to press back to get back to the main menu.

I checked my settings and I disabled the option that says something like "Remember last opened", but that hasn't helped. When I first got the car I thought maybe it was some dust or something, but the screen is spotless and sensitivity is set to Low. And since it's not always the same application opening I'm guessing there must be something else.

This is fully reproducible since it's happens 100% of the time. Does anyone else get the same behaviour?

Go for a quality replica if it's not the ori kit. The mountings differ between the high grade kits vs the lower grade ones (e.g. the rear bumper aprons are attached with a metal bracket + screws at the bottom of the bumper for ori/high grade kit and just stuck on with lower grade replicas). Also I've seen variations in the side skirt design (ori Modulo is a replacement skirt which flares out some replica sticks on the stock skirt) and the rear bumper aprons (ori thicker and not as "sharp and thin").

Also paint job and installation is important. Unfortunately, I have also seen some rear bumper aprons start to detach as well.

I have read somewhere about plastic grade used in automotive.. FRP>PU>ABS>PP.. I believe among others, PP are the best and of course more durable.

As i remember my SA told me the that Modulo BK from Honda are PP made. The same vendor also supply to outside acc shops.. its the same thing with diff price tag only.

Agree.. to buy the bodykit not only the material are matter.. their workmanship are the most crucial thing that we should be concern of.. try to look for any reputable acc shop if u are really keen on installing BK to your beloved beast.

Hi all,

most of you would have gotten your cars for quite some time and have prolly done some miles on it.

wanna ask owners if any have encountered issues after having the car for an extended period?? i.e >10K KM

please note to not include issues which are existing when you took ownership of the car.

example:

i have done almost 10k KM on mine and only problem ive encountered so far (and you can see im nitpicking)

1. moist in the Air-con leading to a mold like smell during initial warm-up
2. wiper making squeaking noises already.
3. driver side door panels starting to feel loose.

After shopping and research for a few weeks, I went with the ori Honda kit from my Honda dealer. Longer term it should be hassle and worry free and lasts. The high grade PP replicas are still not 100% identical with the ori kit from Honda from my observation. Your SA can cut you some discounts (from their comms). Paint job from the Honda dealer is perfect match and quality paint job as well.

Most Honda SA's offer both, high grade replicas or ori Modulo for their customers. You can check with your SA.

Could be the AC air tumbling over to the screen which causes this which I have found on my car as well (sometimes beeping like crazy as well). Point air vent upwards and reduce the fan speed and observe if this still happens.

guys, wanna ask, how much does you guys pay for tinting?
my agent ask me to top up rm1600 for tinting

and is it worth it to go for the modulo bodykit , agent claimed outside one cheap but material is bad? so he suggest me to top up for the official bodykit too..

any suggestion? as i need to give him the answer by tomorrow. thanks
*
For tint, if agent asks money from you, that means he/she taking a cut. Might as well you take a little time and research around to get something better for that price. Or you can be mean enough to squeeze the agent to give you tint for free (albeit lower quality type, but better than none right?)

For body kit, unless die die you want it, suggest that you wait a while after owning the car. If after a year or 2 still itchy want to get, can get larger design selection from the aftermarket.

If u have enough budget, go for original BK from honda obviously.. if anything happen(not install properly etc) u still can go back to the responsible SC and ask them to fix it.

If u dont want to spend your hard earn RM4k just for the BK, u can deal with your SA to get the BK from vendor. Your SA probably know the vendor and acc shop which have the same PP BK provided to Honda.. and if anything happen(BK installed not up to the standard, paint color lari etc) u still can choke your SA and ask him to fix it.. hehe

And if u really tight on budget and still itchy to have BK on your car, look around at mudah.my or get recommendation from others who already install it at certain shop.. dont forget to pray hard too because acc shop rarely want to take the responsibility if anything happen.
