No need to waste money on 0W-30, unless you're planning to rev to 6K rpm on a regular basis. Our car can use 0W-30 of course, but the oil is only recommended for Civic Type-R or Accord V6.

Bad experience with SC @Old Klang Rd. Send my car in for engine oil change (1st time) last Tuesday. Then the next few days spotted Oil on my parking lot. Call then many times. Initially don't want to take my call. Finally a lady takes the call and ask me to come to the SC today.

Send the car in and I was with them to see how serious the oil leakage is. Wow... so many oil on the bottom of the engine and the bottom cover.

The senior foreman confirmed its due to washer problem. So I question them
1. Genuine washer? If yes, then should fit 100% right?
2. Reuse the old washer?
3. Not tighten properly? Because being handle by inexperienced foreman?

Lost 100ml oil in only 10 days. Told them that luckily I saw the leakage. Else the engine will be short of oil and causing engine meltdown.

Very mad and disappointed with the SC.

After engine oil change, better check the parking floor to see any oil leakage or not.

there will be problem in every cars but is either minor or major
and here comes the important of after sales service. if SC able to pin point the problem accurately and fix it efficiently, owners still will happy

i believe the SC have latest equipment to diagnose the problem but depends if the technicians willing to put more efforts on it

Guys, is the tire roar really that bad for our civic?

Yesterday was the first time I actually drove my car on the highway. When rev up to 100 to 110 km/h, the tire roar was really really bad. The sound is so loud till I no mood to drive on highway liao.

The car is perfectly silence on low speed, but so disappointing at high speed. I think it's even worse than my previous Kia Forte.

Anyone changed their tire? Does it help?

Maybe I have too high expectation on this car since most reviews say it has good NVH and so on.

I thought it would be miles ahead of my previous ride....

I also got hit by Stone today. Kena roof. Straight away a 2mm chip until can see the metal. Kena buy touch up paint ad. Sigh

When I first got the car, it is quiet when below 100km/h. Once go above 100 then will start to hear wind noise or tire noise ( not sure which, can't distinguish)

Few months later, I notice that the engine sound is more obvious and I can hear the motors passing me more clearly compared to when I just got the car. (Not too sure about this as I cannot have direct comparison between my car now and few months ago)
Also just an update to anyone who wants to know how much 1 side of our side mirror cost, it is RM1057.76 from Honda. They gave me a 15% discount which brings it down to RM899.096.
Spray paint fee RM120, Service fee RM80. Add another 6% gst will bring it to RM1165.

Local workshop don't have spare parts for new civic yet. They say Honda controls the spare parts.
