Hi guys, noticed walk away auto locking suddenly stopped working.

Normally when we shut off the car and close the doors there's a beep and another beep when you walk away and the doors lock.

Any ideas?

Getting my windscreen replaced cuz got hairline crack due to stone and shop says too deep to repair.

Anyways I need to replace the llumar tint on the windscreen and need some advice

1. Is it possible to get a replacement for free? Hehehe
2. If kenot will it be always cheaper to go back to the same shop for replacement?
3. If not does anyone know any good llumar authorized shop that gives a good deal for the windscreen only?

just got my windscreen replaced. how long do i typically have to wait before i can go and tint the windscreen (for the silicon to set)?

service guys and llumar giving me different answers i was hoping someone can give me a more definitive answer here.

its RM1.8k~ .. windscreen insurance covered.

tho i am not sure if the same prices applies for 1.8 or 1.5tcp.

cuz the service rep needed to know my actual variant before ordering the windscreen. not sure why.

most of you would have gotten your cars for quite some time and have prolly done some miles on it.

wanna ask owners if any have encountered issues after having the car for an extended period?? i.e >10K KM

please note to not include issues which are existing when you took ownership of the car.

example:

i have done almost 10k KM on mine and only problem ive encountered so far (and you can see im nitpicking)

1. moist in the Air-con leading to a mold like smell during initial warm-up
2. wiper making squeaking noises already.
3. driver side door panels starting to feel loose.

1 more problem discovered today.

relay clicking noises when i went over potholes today. first time it was so pronounced today

when you go over potholes u get a relay sounding "click click click". and then it goes. "ClickClickClickClickClickClickClickClickClickClick ".

anyone experience this issue? i've seen in ppl saying its the VSA getting faulty.

yes. sounds like it but not as "refined"

im using T4-50. if you travel alot during the afternoon then i would advise getting the next level up as T4-50 is just adequate for normal afternoon weather but is actually not very effective when weather gets really hot.

for me its fine cuz i usually drive in the mornings and evenings and always parked under shades.

Want to know how much I can exceed before I get into trouble.

nah.. this the oil change from the maintenance computer. want to do 20k oil change and service.. but mileage currently 10k only. lol

tried both 20 and 30. estimated that 30 uses ~10% more fuel.

but with 30 acceleration from standstill feels smoother.
