Hi guys.. am expecting my 1.8 MS civic this coming friday.. and was thinking to add Modulo BK (or atleast ducktail) at outside acc shop.. I am well aware that my action will cost me my warranty being void but can someone here can clarify or confirm which part's warranty are gonna affected?

like for spoiler since there's some electrical works done and punching holes onto the bonet, there goes the warranty for the whole bonet and and tail lights(i believe the installer gonna pull the wire for spoiler light from here).

but other part of bodykits? rear, side and front skirting will affecting what actually?

Yeah.. need to think this matter thoroughly.. $$ lose VS satisfaction

u can see in mudah.my some acc shop offer from RM8++ to 12++.. Abs material cheaper than PP's one.

I have read somewhere about plastic grade used in automotive.. FRP>PU>ABS>PP.. I believe among others, PP are the best and of course more durable.

As i remember my SA told me the that Modulo BK from Honda are PP made. The same vendor also supply to outside acc shops.. its the same thing with diff price tag only.

Agree.. to buy the bodykit not only the material are matter.. their workmanship are the most crucial thing that we should be concern of.. try to look for any reputable acc shop if u are really keen on installing BK to your beloved beast.

If u have enough budget, go for original BK from honda obviously.. if anything happen(not install properly etc) u still can go back to the responsible SC and ask them to fix it.

If u dont want to spend your hard earn RM4k just for the BK, u can deal with your SA to get the BK from vendor. Your SA probably know the vendor and acc shop which have the same PP BK provided to Honda.. and if anything happen(BK installed not up to the standard, paint color lari etc) u still can choke your SA and ask him to fix it.. hehe

And if u really tight on budget and still itchy to have BK on your car, look around at mudah.my or get recommendation from others who already install it at certain shop.. dont forget to pray hard too because acc shop rarely want to take the responsibility if anything happen.

Not that easy lah bro.. depends on the installer as well, i might say.. some ah beng acc shop will use screw instead of clip to install the BK onto your car.. summore, they're using low quality silicone strip which will "unattached" from your car's body after some time.. it was like the glue on the silicone no longer there, if u get what i mean.

I do have the same issue as yours and i know some of the owners whom sharing the same issue as us. Its really not a rare case actually.

To me personally, i dont bother to complaint regarding this matter as long as its functioning. I've read somewhere at Civic's FB group that, there are some of the owner having "real" problem with their side mirror. The pair are reluctant to unfold when needed, especially during raining time. The poor owners need to turn off and turn back on several times before the side mirror starting to cooperate again. When report to SC, standard answer will be given "owh we never heard about this issue before"...duhhhh
