Newspaper ads saying Civic 5k rebate, but I think it meant if we don't take the free 2 year services.
My family want me to get City though =P

QUOTE(ssyy @ Mar 19 2017, 11:32 PM) Bought civic 1.5 tcp last november. Was totally surprised with the poor quality of modern honda car. Hmmm I wanted to buy worrrrr haha1) peeling clearcoat @ roof panel - fixed by SC with some questionable repaint quality (overspray & dripping) 2) uneven door paint rear RHS - fixed by SC. Acceptable quality 3) vsa clicking noise - not yet fixed 4) windshield rubber frame crack & torn causing wind crackling sound & possibly water leakage - this one really takes the cake. 4 months car, 7000km, 90% covered car park suffer from this issue. SC told rubber degraded. Warranty claim is quite hassle with long waiting period for replacement. 5) misaligned door - SC tried to fix by adjusting the rubber seal. But does not solve the problem at all. Still misaligned as if the car had an accident & had a bad repair job. 6) various rattle, creaks & odd noise in the car - can somehow live with it but.. Come on.. 7) lots of dust trapped in the meter cluster - same above 8) twisted & inconsistent rubber seals around doors & trunk space - same above disappointed & regret with the purchase. Never had this much problem on a brand new car before, not even a proton or perodua. Wondering if im expecting too much for a 130k car.. |

QUOTE(joejee @ Mar 20 2017, 10:05 PM) The “Best Time to Get Best Protection” promo sees Honda Malaysia (HM) offer the Ecotint RayBarrier Splendour window film at RM850 to all new and existing Honda owners, valid from now until March 29. This represents savings of 61%, or RM1,350 over the normal price of RM2,200. The warranty is five years. We checked and yes, existing customers are welcome. Don't know the specsWorth to get this? |

Now it's still the first batch? Then should just wait for the new batch huh. If not just go for facelift mazda 3 already. So many QC issues.

QUOTE(chekai @ Mar 27 2017, 08:01 PM) Got my 1.8 changed to fully leathered. SA sent to do it for me before I collect the car. but it's not done in house, it's somewhere else. Should be no problem with airbags. How much is it?Make sure you get those with no holes on it, else lots of dust. Also, less design on the stitching/finishing means easier to wipe too. The SA in Honda say they do the exact same design as 1.5tc, then give you back the seat fabric ----------nevermind found it------------------ This post has been edited by nles: Mar 27 2017, 08:39 PM |

QUOTE(neotheone @ Mar 29 2017, 05:43 PM) Provided that your existing loan and credit cards are paid on time with adequate net salary to support additional loan, should be OK. I don't use credit card, and don't pay income tax nor epf lol.........Which bank and interest you got for the loan? Your Car discount amount is very attractive. Only thing is shared housing loan. My SA submitted AMBANK, PUBLIC BANK, MAYBANK, because those are my current account. Now need to survey for tint. SA offered 3M, looks like 3M have issue with smart tag, not sure bout GPS. I tried both the Mazda 3 GVC and Civic 1.8 just now at Mazda GVC launch in Setia Alam.
The GVC does make a different, but I'm glad I booked civic. |

QUOTE(shinchan^^ @ May 2 2017, 07:37 AM) Last year after I try Honda City then goes into Mazda 3, the different in Interior is quite significant, makes Honda felt cheap. But this time After I tried Mazda 3 and goes into Honda Civic, It doesn't felt that much premium anymore. Sure Mazda Interior still felt better especially that knob at the gear level is particularly useful, but civic gave a much more spacious feeling. Backseats space totally can't compare. Mazda3 center console is nicer, Civic instrumental cluster is nicer. I didn't adjust the head up display in Mazda3 so the viewing angle is odd for me during test drive. Can't commend much about the drive as I just tried the short course, rushing to family dinner. The only reason I'm interested in Mazda3 this time around is because they have High Spec Hatchback, before facelift they only have hatchback same price with sedan but with less equipment. Now hatchback is priced higher than sedan but with same high spec equipment. Well they don't have M3 HB GVC on display there, don't even have ready stock, still in manufacturing progress I guess. Waiting for the SA update me on HB availability. Since civic 1.5 tc also no stock at the moment, let's see which one comes first and do I wanna pay another 10k extra for that. QUOTE(limkj @ May 3 2017, 07:39 AM) Did you know the Civic already comes with Agile Handling Assist which is similar to Mazda's G torque vectoring? But Mazda still does it better, you can go try it out. |
