Seems to be inline with what I thought. When the Civic was launched I went to check the fit and finish...it's actually quite mediocre; at least compared to Mazda 3.

Having said that, Suprima S and Preve's fit and finish were lousy. Persona seems to be improved.

Will this solve the issue 100% on the rattling sound by dashboard? Previously send my car to SC to fix the issue, however after a month, the problem comes back.

Actually is around 5k+ only..the owner of that car is my school friend😂

I also have notice that. I heard some where this due to CVT gear box, the responsiveness is not as fast as 4AT.

Maybe other CVT owner can give feedback also. Or got any solution..

The rattling noise at passenger side from before has completely vanished.

But...

New rattling noise like somewhere in the stering or cluster meter appear pula

But very rare occasion only... like today never encounter any noise

So far those installed this didn't complain anymore... but if the rattling is not caused by the dashboard like wires... then it cannot solve

Regarding your rattling dashboard, is it the same noise as previously before sending to SC? because such a coincidence mine also sent to SC fix, previous sound at passenger side is no more, but new sound appear... sounds like something inside the dashboard is knocking the plastic or what which no longer at passenger side like I previously had, its more on driver side or behind HU

Guys..wan ask does your persona give sound warning if you open your driver door when the car is either in drive/parking mode..encounter 1 very dangerous situation juz now lucky nothing bad happen..

You mean sound warning when door is not properly closed while car still moving?

I never encounter before, but the multi-info meter will show which door is not properly shut.

yes..and also when car is stopping..juz now when i stop my car i thought it was in parking mode already..but actually it was in reverse..

i go out from my car..my car oni start to move backwards..so shocked when i look back...

lucky my fren still inside car pull the handbrake ..if not sure crash behind car..

i wish there was fucking loud noise to warn me on this situation

When I install the rubber , I can feel the plastic at the edge of the dashboard is really soft and it's like hollow at the center. I found out because I need to push the rubber using my finger into the gap and surprisingly it's like very easy to go in...

So far the result after install and drive for some time.: The rattling definitely lesser now. But like you said , I also heard like there is some wire vibrating and touching the inner of the head unit which caused a slight rattling sound but the sound is definitely lesser now. Think the rubber did it's magic but the rattling sound from inside the head unit is not bothering me.

I don't know any of you has this problem
After my first 1k service , the car drinks petrol like water.
My FC is very bad. It's like rm80 can only give me 300-320km only before it start showing me the orange color indicator

I am sending my car to sc on Monday to have them check on the ECU.

By the way, any sc that allows us to bring own engine lub?

i am surprised after reading these issues...i was a proton preve cfe 2012 owner which i sold last year..the same issues of the throttle response was poor and it needs a second or two to respond , rattling sounds all were in my preve and more than that..

i am surprised the new persona has it.. the lag i think its due to the cvt , the engine (campro or so called vvti engine) has never been economical when new..after more mileage only it can become better..i have used the previous persona also..not so economical..

300 to 320 full tank is in what kind of driving condition? if assuming u used RM80 of ron95 to travel only 320km, that convert to a 9.2km/l... that's pretty bad unless you're on 100% city drive with speed not more than 50km/h and lots of jam...

In my opinion this Persona FC actually not bad for this weight and this engine...

Compared to my Myvi 1.3 MT which has mileage 200k, the Myvi is getting around 15-16km/l FC meanwhile this new Persona MT is getting around 14km-15km/l similar drive which not bad considering this car is about 200kg heavier than Myvi with bigger 1.6 displacement engine and still below 10k mileage.
My Iswara 1.3 MT only getting 11-12km/l

City drive 70percent. Mostly 60kmh to 90kmh
When I got the car new, the FC is far better than this.
