auto premium..so sad just received the car from day one can feel the jerking..now i'm worried everytime when car slowed down and wan change car lane..

btw my car is 2016 model eventhough just got it this month
*
What's the condition for it to jerk?
As for my car, it jerk when I step the throttle 1/3 from stop, for few seconds and release.
Like driving 1st gear in manual and feel the jerking after immediate release of throttle.
But now it rarely happens because I try to avoid the jerk by changing my driving style.

How about the rattling from the dashboard head unit?
*
Previously was rattling at passenger side dashboard which has been solved.

For now I wasn't sure which part rattling, its a different sound thou... seems like from inside dashboard which I wasn't sure is from HU or Cluster meter, or inside steering... couldn't locate. Only appear in rare occasion like say maybe hot weather + uneven road?

If i forget to lock my car after i leave ,  will iybe locked automatically?
*
I think it depends, there is a few occasion where after off engine and walk away from the car at some distance, it will lock itself.
But if during the process you open another door or unlocking the car again, it seems like won't lock anymore...

It usually jerk on low speed <20km/h
Example when i was looking for parking and release the accelerator pedal i feel the jerk n sumtimes after that when i press back the accelerator pedal it will jerk..

At high speed >30km/h the car is stable

put on some power window lubricant..that should solve your problem.. the rubber is dry hence the friction..look for the lube in tesco mydin or any store

interesting find. my manual proton saga vvt is having this rattling/pinging sound and I am not sure if it is coming from my engine due to pre-detonation or exhaust system somewhere loose (heat shield) or your issue.

Cause it sounds like metal clunking as well. Does it sound like this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g_Kqu87j7FI&feature=youtu.be
You can hear it when i accelerate.

Let me know your feedback. Thanks!

nope... mine sounds like a piece of metal vibrated in the exhaust...the sound is only audible during engine braking or after rev

biggrin.gif Yup, two different thing. CVT Jerk due to the design of the CVT is wet clutch, I believe new persona less jerk in low end than saga flx cry.gif
