Just got my first 1000KM service, hopefully my fuel drinker of 8.6km/L gets better after this!!
1)Is all the items and pricing standard?
-Oil filter RM13.93
-ScreenWash 300ML RM6.69
-Petrol Treatment RM28
-Gasket-Plug-Oil-Drain RM3.05
-Petronas Semi (10W-40) 4Ltr RM118 (Shouldn't it be cheaper for Service Edar customer, RM100?)
Total RM169.67 + RM10.18GST = RM179.85

2)Shouldn't I service at 10k, 20k? How come they asked me to come back at 6k for service?
*
Hi, want to know whether the screen wash and petrol treatment are free? I didn't get these 2 items for my car 1st service in SC Chan Sow Lin, KL. The SA didn't mentioned them, he only asked whether I wanted to upgrade the oil which I declined.

Syntium 3000 SE (5W-30) = fully synthetic
Syntium 800 SE (10W-30) = semi-synthetic
Syntium 500 SE (15W-40) = mineral-based

For the free service, I got Syntium 800 SE 10W30 SN (RM100) + Oil Filter (RM13.93) + Gasket-Plug-Oil (RM3.05).

For the next service, my car reminder meter is set at 10K.

Very interested in this car, sweet price for what you get. Now going through this thread.

Good car! I've no regret getting it.

Actually, I wanted to buy Bezza for the advertised FC but wife hated it because it backside tonggek (jutting up)!

So, tested the Premium and fall in love with it but found out that it weighted more than 280kg compared with Bezza. For an extra 300cc, Premium needs to carry one quarter of a tonne more!

Lagi teruk, in the same B segment Vios and City are lighter by 100kg but their prices are much heavier. If other companies can make their cars light, Proton can only produce baby elephant???

If I am not mistaken, the Power to Weight Ratio has a bearing on the FC.
That is, it needs more fuel to move all those extra weigh around.

Persona MT is lighter by 55kg compared with Premium! To put it into perspective, against MT, Premium needs to carry 5.5 bags of 10kg rice everyday in the car boot!

I think FC wise, among the Persona variants, MT would be a better option. As for me, I bought the Std (lighter by 35kg) because after driving manual for so long, it would be nice to have a change.

Power to Weight Ratio wise (please let me know if I'm wrong), Persona FC won't be as good as others. So, keep an eye on the Eco Light to get better FC.

If I not yet reach 10k KM for the second service, but the period set by the service center during 1st service is 13 May.

So I can go service after 13 May even my mileage not yet reach 10k KM also?

I heard some owner can't use the free service voucher (3 yrs free service) if the mileage not yet reach 10k KM, is that true?

It is stated in the Warranty & Service booklet that periodical service maintenance is done at an interval of 10k KM or within 6 months (whichever occurs first).

I did asked the salesrep when I booked the car because I know mine can't reach 10k KM within 6 months.

My 1st service is done at only 600km and that after I purposely made a round trip to Melaka to put in more mileage to run-in the engine before the oil change.

Unless it is stated clearly that the 3 years free service voucher cannot be used if mileage didn't reach 10k KM, Proton will be looking for free publicity!

No, the screen wash and Petrol Treatment are not free.

After you did your 1000km service, feel any different? Fuel mileage?

Mine after they changed to the old 10w-40 Semi, engine feels heavy and sluggished, doesn't rev as easily, gas pedal to rev responses slower.

U mean the light on the button or the light at the speedometer? The car skid symbol is the stability control if im not mistaken and its to help you gain back control of ur car when ur car loses traction/grip Under normal operating condition the stability control will not light up on the speedometer unless u turn it off. From the picture u posted it seems that everything is normal, stability control is not switched off. cool2.gif cool2.gif cool2.gif

If you have any issue need them to attend, I would suggest COSE at Shah Alam, normal oil change, any service centre should be ok.
I don't suffer such power lost anymore... acceleration is much linear now... some other part also due to I got accustomed to it on releasing the clutch for a more linear acceleration.. ofcourse if I release clutch too quick, I'll still feel the pull back, but this pull back also exist on my other ride if clutch released too quick. Atleast now going up hill I don't have to pedal down so much as compared to before I change the switch stop lamp rclxm9.gif

Just feeling there's no power lost anymore even never change anything...much more smoother glad to know not just me

To determine on or off, you have to look at the meter cluster instead of the button you highlighted.

At the meter cluster you can see if you turned off the Stability Control with orange like lit exactly the same logo shown at the button with the "Off" words

At the same time, the meter cluster also will show when the stability control actually kicked in when you lose traction, there will be another light lit similar to the button but without the "Off" words

Its good to hear you have no complaints with your car thumbsup.gif
You may proceed to any SC for the oil change, before confirming at the counter, pls confirm with them what is compulsory and what's not (like fuel treatment is optional)

Guys, I've seen a few shots that showing the RPM meter idling at around 700 to 800rpm... meanwhile mine usually idling around 900-1000... is it because mine was MT?

Bezza is smaller car, so it is lighter. normally Japanese and Perodua car will cut the material of the car to reduce the weight, these will sacrifice some safety.

Even so, persona comparable to Vios and City, yet still 100kg heavier.

Bezza's crash test showed it scores better than Persona/iriz. Some may say it's a bit of a cheat as lightweight = less momentum, therefore better score performance, but I dunno lar, the data is there.

Yes it's true Proton cars tend to be heavier. Yes of course it affects the FC.

But why you bother about the weight due to FC? I don't think choosing an import brand car just due to FC alone is a better deal. The car price different is really too much and easily offset the FC. E.g. Persona Premium is 60k. City V spec 92k. With RM32k...it can supply you 13.9k Litres of fuel.... that's 195k km of distance if I assume Persona can run 14km/L. sweat.gif Assuming you travel 2k km per mth, that's around 97.5 months worth of fuel.

Well, that's true because the car was crashing into the designated wall. What if another car crashed into Bezza? I'm sure the result will be different.
