Hi brother, kicked out i meant was while playing suddenly goes blank back to main menu. App.disconnect the service. I need to play the movie again. No issue with account as only 1 device allowed to login at a time. So each time log out from current device login at another device.

DRM L3 devices normally runs smoother than DRM L1 devices but DRM L1 they have to go through more work and more processing to ensure the content is not compromised in the end-to-end delivery. If you have 'root', you can 'downgrade' your KM3 device to make it DRM L3.

Recently the box doesn't connect to Wifi or ethernet. I'm using unifi 100Mbps

Even if it is connected to net it shows (Connected, no internet)

Had to switch off/on everything modem and tv box few times then it connected to the net. Anyone knows what the problem?

If my old Minix U1 running on Lollipop can play these well, I don't see why the newer Minix boxes can't.

Unless these new devices have gotten DRM L1, that would be the most likely reasons they might not able to run smoothly.

Well this will be case to case depending on the Apps. Example youtube, is it not fussy about DRM L1 or L3, everything OK. But there indication showing that AstroGo and HBO GO are paranoiac, their apps do different things when it comes to DRM L1 boxes, one might get out-of-expectation behaviour on DRM L1 boxes.

Personally no need.. Just have to be careful what you click and install on it.. Those devices are still a point of entry to your home network. So even though you don't do any banking or online shopping on it, doesn't mean that there aren't malware, etc that can wreck havoc.

Tried this U9-H-CE FW001 Android 7.1.2 20191120 [Community Edition Nougat Firmware] yet? Based on what I read, after installing.. Do a factory reset to iron out some bugs. Alternatively, you can try out the ATV OS versions out there.

Got la.. Last time, a few dunno how many boxes were part of a group of crypto mining bots. You the user wouldn't know as it's happening silently in the background while the device is on. Depending on how greedy the bot owners are, your network may or may not feel the heat.

Ah I see, single login only system. Still, there's a "crash" that happens during playback and a return to main menu (i assume within the app). This might still be indicative of app/hw incompatibility or a server kickout. Sometimes, the servers are overloaded and can't handle everyone connected at the time. So it kicks a few off. Normally, I would go with that. But since your friend tested it (roughly around the same time) on his TX6 and it played smoothly. Then it's probably the Mecool problem. For playback crashes like that, I doubt AFRd will help much. Worth a try though. Good luck.

You should be able to directly install Kodi from the Google Play Store. Here's the discussion thread too. Feel free to ask dedicated questions there. Try to describe what you've tried so far. Cuz I'm curious as to how simply installing the Kodi app will fail.

Those connection issues are either the box or a networking (typically the router) issue. If you can, try to factory reset the box or your router and see if the issue continues. To me, It's much easier to factory reset my router and setup back up than it is to factory reset my box and setup again. So I would recommend the router first. but up to you. Most likely your network is healthy but the device needs to be reset.

Too new. I don't think any regulars here has gotten their hands on em yet. But given Minix track record with those apps. I expect they should work just fine.

What puchongite says.. We know those 2 apps tend to "choose" which devices to run smoothly on.. Though with AOTG, the beta app has had no great issues for me using Beelink DRM L1 boxes so far. The stable version will run but won't allow streaming cuz they are rooted by default.

I experienced Malware/virus screwed up my previous 2 android boxes. My current box also not spared. Had to wipe data 2 times to date.
Now keeping my box very light with only a few apps.

Afrd is just to automate the process of adjusting the frequency. For testing purposes, you can achieve it manually.

From droidsetting, choose a display frequency. Try out the play back of the movies which gives judder to check if the problem is resolved.

Repeat for other available frequencies, until you think you hit the right frequency.

hey guys i have a95x max, worked really good for first 2 month. happy with it

but recently the box prompted me for a firmware update, i proceed to install it and how i regretted for going for the update. now my wifi will disconnect and reconnect at random time, disturbing my iptv experience.

tried both my 5G and normal 2.4g wifi and same thing happens. i wonder if i can revert back the update? or i might just need to reset the box...?

Normally there is no reverse back mechanism. You would have these options :-

1. Download from seller, freaktab or 4pda.ru websites and install back the older version,

2. Try to reset the box and see if it improves,

3. Get a router/WiFi repeater and change connection to ethernet,

4. Bear with it until another upgrade.

As suggested... Do a factory reset... Probably something broke during the update... If issue still persists.. Either go wired (highly recommended) or reflash prior stock ROM.

From what I understand, Afrd is to dynamically toggle the refresh rate, trying to match that with the video frame rate currently being played back.

From Droid settings, select display. Select screen resolution.

Normally the 'Auto switch to best resolution' is on. This will likely choose highest resolution and highest refresh rate. But there are other available options, such as ....p60, ....p50, ....p30.

So just try one by one manually with respect to a particular content of video one interested to play.

There are few things i am not sure about android box system.
I saw a few demo set along those store.

1.How do I disable or remove those launcher interface ? each android box have their launcher which is hard to navigate using a remote control.I just prefer something simple like stock android which apps are just on the front page.I worry after remove or disable will crash and boot loop.
2. Which so many android box , some are with remote control but no shutdown button but with only sleep red button.Is there a way to totally poweroff the device rather than sleep mode ? All the android box with their own interface doesn't have a turn off button ? tested long press will not work.
3. How do i block ads from a various apps in 1 go ? as for non rooted box , is it possible to block all popup or google ads from every apps ? some ads are unrelated and worry when they click it and brings up a browser and install some malware.
4. Does android box allow rooting ? SOme apps are include data/data which I wanted to backup.Does sdk tools allow to pull data/data from the androidbox without rooting ?
