Thanks for the advice. I ordered a mibox yesterday (cos wife complain lol) so maybe i move that box to my non 4k tv in the other house.
For amazon stick 4k vs. Cube, only diff is alexa right?
Sure, Waifus...

. Since you've already ordered it. Best to try it out first, who knows they might have pushed an update that makes the Netflix 4K experience smoother. Don't go purchasing another box yet until you can rule out for sure that you want a better experience.
Yup.. Besides their shape & sizes.. It'd be that the Cube has an Ethernet port and serious Alexa integration. The Fire TV Cube is also a full-fledged Alexa speaker. That means that you can speak to it and give it commands without having to hold down a button on the remote (Have to use the remote with the Stick 4K). Now, if you have a smart home with gadgetry you talk to, etc? Then the cube should fit right into that scenario. Else, IMO the stick 4K is good enough. It also supports 4K, HDR10, Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision. It has access to nearly every streaming service you could want, and the vast Amazon App Store.

Hi bro,
I spoke with both mecool and myiptv4k vendor..
Both finger ponting to each other.
Mecool vendor claims this box 4k hdr supported and should play smoothly.
Myiptv got all 4k contents in hdr..
Not sure what hdr is this.
Playing this through mecool can see stutter.
Definitely cannot change player its playing in default player from myiptv app
When spoke to myiptv vendor he claims , he tested in h96max seems fine.
First was pointing to bandwidth, but doenst make sense since my tv netflix app 4k hdr playing smooth.
Later he claimed mecool chipset is s905x2 which is not compatible to 4k hdr.
Chipset has to be above s912 to play 4k hdr from myiptv4k.
But in mecool spec describtion its stated supporting 4k hdr no idea its true or not.
Maybe this box only support 4k not 4k hdr thats why when play its stuttering ?
I'm not surprised that both are pushing the blame on each other. This is precisely one of the reasons Netflix only offers its certifications to a few choice devices (and i agree). Devices that they've ensured are built according to their specifications and should offer up to the very best streaming service. Else, they too would be fielding queries and complaints about their service from non-discerning customers who purchase subpar boxes and expect everything to work smoothly (No, you not one....haha). This way they can focus instead on producing great content and its smooth delivery to us.
The Amologic S905X2 is definitely capable of the following;
Video Decoding: H.265, VP9, AVS2 up to 4Kp75 10bit H.264 4Kp30
HDMI Tx: HDMI 2.1 + HDCP2.2
HDR: HLG/HDR10/10+ Dolby Vison, & TCH PRIME.
However, as we've talked about in here. It usually isn't just about great hardware. If the software isn't written well enough to properly tap into the HW and ensure smoothness? Then it's all wasted. Which is why 2 separate boxes from different manufacturers, speccing similar HW can operate quite differently. AFAIK, the Mecool spec sheet isn't lying. It's like how car manufacturers claim top speed of say 240km/h. But you still need a bunch of stuff to align perfectly (or at least, nearly perfectly), such as a skilled driver, excellent fuel, tyres and more importantly a smooth road stretch to to test that limit. Similarly for the box to do what it claims (if it can), you need to provide it with the right set of conditions. If you've done that and a particular app/service isn't working as should? Then logically, gotta deduce it's that app/service lor. Ask yourself, Netflix 4K HDR support on the Mecool. Do you blame the box or Netflix?
