Best box for Astro Go?

Yes, minimum would be 2GB RAM. Anything more than 4GB IMO, would be wasteful at this point given the average user's intentions. Sure, for power users who can find more uses for higher RAM amounts? Go for it. Else, unused RAM is wasted RAM.. Plus, RAM & ROM size or even OS version isn't everything. I've seen 4GB RAM 32GB ROM Android 8 OS boxes that still perform poorly than lesser specced boxes.. So about Android 8 being "more stable"? Nah, focus on the overalls package.

If the TV doesn't have such apps bundled and you require Netflix in FHD+ etc? Yup, much safer to stick with the MiBox S. It's certified for real.. No hanky panky required.

Nope.. As with all ehem stuffs.. Once yo hand over your money.. Consider it gone. Nothing like police report, etc.. So even the "legit" ones have the same clause. Don't like? Sorry, stick to the actual legit ones.

I'll be shameless here and just plug... Minix Neo U1.. For Asterruk, you simply can't go wrong with this. At least for now and foreseeable future. Minix devices as a whole have somehow survived each Asterruk app update. So they must have done something right with their HW/SW combo.

VPN

I don't think it will work. I tried to connect to VPN back to Malaysia when I was in Hungary recently. It straight detected I'm connected to VPN and won't load.

It works fine on my last visit (early this month till mid month).
I used both Express VPN and my own VPN also can pass through.
May I know which provider you used? Probably there's DNS leak

I was using ExpressVPN too.

I'm going back to SG end of this month or early Oct.
I'll try again and test it out, and will provide feedback here.

Another review on S10X.

Android TV boxes are problematic when running those "free" video apps due to missing top bar in android ATV interface, but in this review, the author said it does not suffer from this problem.
