I recently managed to grab 2xAAA Eneloop batteries from Lazada flash sales. Maybe I should try using back the A2 Lite but I'm already used to the wireless keyboard.

You can try and if it still performs badly.. Then confirm lemon unit and you can discard.. Revert to comfy wireless keyboard..

I will charge the batteries to full juice first before using, then I can know if I really got a lemon unit.
Just for my information, you didn't take out the batteries from remote right? It has no on/off button, so not sure how to retain battery juice.

Nope.. Like all my other remotes.. Battery stays in and only removed when weak and swapped with spare fully charged batteries.. Rinse repeat. I occasionally open battery covers to cheak for any spontaneous leaks.. None so far over the years.

Noted. I will charge my batteries in office tomorrow then try at night.

I'm using dect phone as charger.
everytime my batt drained, I jus swapped it... hehe

That's a good idea to charge the Aaa battery

I have the A2 Lite Air mouse but battery drained quite badly from my end, so I ended up not using it now.

There are plenty other confirmed unrooted devices WITH dedicated ethernet and USB ports. I suggest you look at those instead.
Worth and recommended to use with Minix devices. Though works for others too. Except Minix device dedicated buttons won't work as intended. Been using the Neo A2 Lite airmouse with rechargeable Eneloop batteries. Almost daily usage.. Lasts months easy. I don't expect the upgraded Neo A3 Airmouse to perform any less.. Barring it a lemon unit of course.

maybe urs is lemon units.

mine just use ikea battery, last months, minimum 6months with daily usage.

Haven't you bought the latest mi box?

Again, perhaps if you could list your budget, your expectation on using the box, any particular apps, shows that you'd like to have on the box incl if you are willing to pay for subs.

That'll give the otai here some idea for recommendation

Minix Neo U1 or better Neo U9-H ticks all the boxes. Want HDR support amongst others? Get the Neo U9-H.. Else Neo U1 is good enough. Can handle both 4K HDR and SDR.. Except of course, the HDR is ignored.
Alternatively, look at Mecool M8S Pro L or the more recent one.. But can't 100% guarantee it'll all be well. Plus you might have to unroot or mask root yourself.
Offered earlier.. He says too pricey.
