QUOTE(GuyM @ Oct 4 2018, 10:53 PM) UPDATE UPDATEThis box died last week Its just blank. Have just submitted to GearBest to see if i could claim warranty for this box. I sold it to a friend before i got the Mecool. Anyway, hope can claim another box. What a pity! Was a good trouble free, no lag, fast box until it died just like that. So apparently GB only willing to compensate USD25 for the said box. Btw decided to open up the box to look at the internals Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(Scissorshand @ Oct 27 2018, 09:16 AM) I would be dissappointed if it doesn't support at least FHD Netflix but would be great if it can do 4k Yeah, I bought one but for a pal.. Only had it a few days to test it out and setup for him. Been running smoothly for him I guess. Seeing as I haven't had any unusual issues raised besides how to update dying ehem apps.. Normal. But then, his is a more simple usage. So I left it stock and thinking back, that ROM would be buggy as per jhlou's post below..Btw you have mecool box right? have you tried this yet...NEXUS ROM for Android TV OS QUOTE(jhlou @ Oct 27 2018, 09:36 AM) There are at least 2 versions of same Mecool box but running on different hardware. Old version is LB variant that can run this rom. Fixed and correct.New version LQ is what I bought recently and will not work with this rom. If you install Bluetooth and Wifi will break. Developer had no intention of developing for LQ variant ATM QUOTE(GuyM @ Oct 27 2018, 11:15 AM) I strongly doubt it. If not even any official mentions of Widevine levels and Netflix support. Suggests that they are being more careful with their advertising compared to previous release.. Where they advertised heavy about it being an official Netflix device. Turned out to be some hackery? instead..QUOTE(BOTAK_WAI @ Oct 27 2018, 11:18 AM) Can't argue with that. But if they take too long being too reliable versus giving the people what they want.. Even hard-core fans like myself, will be forced to switch brands when the time comes.. QUOTE(tertiary @ Oct 27 2018, 11:23 AM) Limiting.. Always go HDMI if possible. |

QUOTE(tharmaraj @ Oct 29 2018, 10:11 AM) There are plenty other confirmed unrooted devices WITH dedicated ethernet and USB ports. I suggest you look at those instead.QUOTE(Plus+ @ Oct 29 2018, 04:28 PM) Worth and recommended to use with Minix devices. Though works for others too. Except Minix device dedicated buttons won't work as intended. Been using the Neo A2 Lite airmouse with rechargeable Eneloop batteries. Almost daily usage.. Lasts months easy. I don't expect the upgraded Neo A3 Airmouse to perform any less.. Barring it a lemon unit of course. |

Maybe I should try using back the A2 Lite but I'm already used to the wireless keyboard. |
