I hv search this thread and read the first page; after i bought the box. 😅 seems like not getting definite answers. Tried multiple apk either getting error 111 or forever loading. The only channel working is luxe hd. 😅

Mine can switch from remote to mouse cursor.

I use the IR keyboard with touchpad, I supposed yes mouse is needed.

There are definite answers. No offense, but if you actually searched and read the thread... You would clearly see that if the likes of UnifiTV and AOTG are your priority, you'd get a Minix device and NOT the h96 max+ you just bought. Has been mentioned several times in this thread.. Anyways, since your device is rooted... You'll have to either figure out how to unroot it (if possible, typically involves flashing a compatible yet unrooted fw) or ditch it for a box that does what you need. Even then, it's still no guarantee that the UnifiTV app will work well. It's a very troublesome/choosy app. Thank TM devs for that..

Ok. I think i will on hold to purchase premium tv box like himedia q10 pro and minix u9. I will try with tx3 mini which below rm200 for testing and familiar with andriod box 1st.

Tx3 mini vs tx3 max any suggestion?.since tx3 mini plenty of end user rating.

Im on raspberry pi 3 now as my entertainment box. Someobe the addon is dead not like previous.

any android box can fully utilize current unifi turbo speed ie 500mbps?
tested mine(minix neo x8-h plus), only can get around 70-80mbps.
tested using cable and 5ghz wifi also the same result

did u use 5G WiFi?
did u use cat6 rj45?
did u tested on torrent? u must include the upload speed in ur calculation...

yup.
5g wifi and cat5e also giving same speed.
my laptop shows 400-500mbps. so there is no issue from my router i guess.

ohh the hdd write speed did u try it?

FYI the oni advantages of 500MBps network is torrent.
70-80 is more than enuf for Netflix 4k streaming...

5g wifi but what bandwidth? How many streams?

Chipset limitation perhaps?

i was thinking of getting the H96 max+ (4gb/32gb) as well just for my media playback and some light streaming.. how's the user experience and box performance so far? Only unifi tv unable to be installed eh? Other apps working fine?

so far so good.
been watching Netflix and stream movies from my pc using VLC. no lag at all. but my tv only full hd. not 4k. so I am not sure how will it perform.
unifi tv can install but got error playback 111. only luxe channel is working. but can stream hd without any problem. astro on the go not working at all due to rooted.

These is the only apps I have tested so far. Haven't tried others. Cos actually I just got the box yesterday morning.

Are you using LAN cable or WIFI?
Unifi TV only support WIFI
