I just realised an issue... My "settings" app crashes every time I open it. Besides hard reset the box, what else can I do? This is for my Minix U1..

Try to wipe cache partition first upon reboot.

Oh ya, now I recall, will try tonight.
Not that it matters a lot as I still can access from other path but it's just irritating. I really don't want to lose my data as I have spent a lot of time installing them. sweat.gif

No you won't lose your data or installed apps.. I've experienced that Settings error upon launch from either home screen or app drawer. Clearing the cache from recovery and updating all Google apps (unsure if the latter is related) fixed it.

Newbie here looking just go through the first page and recent recommendation. With so many choices, down to two comparison MEcool vs mibox 3 pro. Can anyone tell me in term of differences except for the RAM, ROM? which one better for normal use of iptv and some youtube or movie?

Thank you @voncrane. Do we need to root the mecool box for apps installation (some iptv apps) ? Google Apps? was it simple interface that easy to navigate? and any recommended seller? haha, too much question. Need to look for topic discussing this box only.

Mecool is already pre-rooted, though some of us actually hide the root via Magisk to launch some apps example AOTG

The box is running Android 7.0 with Google apps pre-installed.
There are 2 variants, one is Android 7.0 and another is Android TV version.

Selling in shopee, Lazada, 11street. Look for vouchers.
