QUOTE(rain_wolf @ Jul 27 2017, 08:04 PM) Just wondering, why Affin hwang select bond fund? it seems to have lower dividend than ASB at 5.96%. Or did I got this wrong? Please enlighten me. apart from acting as my UT portfolio stabiliser, it is for this performance and no need to try your luck go hunting for ASNB units every month to top up RM 100 of units This post has been edited by T231H: Jul 27 2017, 08:35 PM Attached thumbnail(s)

Which has unlimited units to be purchased so I can buy it anytime. Is it still worth it tho buying it as asb has 7% dividend last year? I'm trying to diversify my investment.

To diversify yr investment....can go for other funds that allows rsp rm 100 each on 2 funds that are not invested in m'sia......check fsn rsp list and counted check with its factsheets for details

If you are a non bumi, can consider it as replacement for ASW2020, ASM, AS1M if you cannot get these 3 funds. But all these 3 funds guaranteed can get once a year. Your choice. I keep my ASNB over affin hwang because of it's instant liquidity. This post has been edited by Ramjade: Jul 27 2017, 09:16 PM

For Public Mutual funds invested in cash or EPF, in order to "transfer", you need to sell the public mutual funds and buy other funds available on FSM at 0% sales charge. So it's not really a transfer, more like a sell and buy for no service charge. Because PRS has restriction to sell until retirement age. You can't sell and buy back QUOTE(i1899 @ Jul 26 2017, 02:09 PM) PRS inter house switching is called PRS Provider Transfer. I just did it in June, from Affin Hwang PRS Moderate to CIMB PRS. Just fill in the form at link below, send it with a copy of IC to Fundsupermart. https://www.fundsupermart.com.my/main/buyse...ransferForm.pdfThe total cost is RM25 + GST + Postage fee. If the amount is small, don't do it. Please note that, it will take much much longer time compared with normal inter switching, around 4 weeks to reflect the transaction in FSM, around 3 weeks to reflects in www.prsmember.my. Hey guys, thanks for the reply. I asked because when I bought into the PRS I was under the impression it was something I cannot back out from until retirement. Anyway, the value of my investment into the PRS was RM1K (2014) + RM500 (initiative by the government). Todate the NAV is at RM15XX. I think it's time to get out.
