Yeah..they are a bit smelly compared to Rc and WW..but i never own a syrian before..

owh .. so they do abit smelly ... haha .. i tot my robos are sick or sumthing..

i still prefer toyogo box, haha.........coz if later quit keeping hamster, the box still can be used to store things.

haha..u r rite..they just eat wutever i fed them.oso rebut2 one..after finished eating will sleep at one corner ramai2 including the mummy..when wake up..start eating back..makan..makan..makan..hehe..hurm..mine one if the bedding seam like a bit kotor then the mummy will start to push out the bedding that she feel dirty..so i have to always clean the mess lor..huh

Will only decide when the babies are 3 weeks old - when I am very sure they will survive. But i'll keep a couple or one of the pups.

last nite,my sister called me telling that something not good happen to her minnie(RC).usually, if other ppl want to touch him, he will bite them but last nite, when my sister want to fed him, she saw just sit there ..usually he will rush to the bowl to eat laa..but last nite, he just sit at one corner and the movement quite slow..then his breath berbunyi laa..like someone having athsma..my sis can hold him barehanded and he just stay at my sis palm not like usual where he used to jump here and there..what happen huh?selsema meh?

not sure .....but for safe side, bring it to the vet to check, mayb sick lah

My hamster died this morning.. Guess I am too late to bring her to the vet..

My hamster also have this symptom before she died. I guess you better bring the hamster for checkup, or it will be too late like my case.

what should she do before she bring her to the vet..by this time she is at my hometown CRYING..nobody at home that can bring her to the vet because my mom working, my bro have class..dun have transportation..but after 4 can..please helpppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppp

er......cant help much....
try separate it from other hamster, put in another container, then put shredded tissues, dun use wood bedding. Try hand feed some water and food to it......Hope it helps.

Do like what joanalooidog said, separate it and place in a small cage or carrier with tissue.... keep in a warm place and feed it water. Water is more important than food.

Also, you must know that hamsters are small, the smaller their bodies, the faster the sickness can spread.... so.... you also must toughen yourself for worst case scenario like the hamster dying.... It is a normal thing.

Yeah.. just be prepared for the worst case scenario.. from my experience, if hammi get sick, the chances of it surviving is reduce a lot...

Erm... cat poop.. of course la scary their poop so big.... I used to have 2 syrians.. then after 1 year they escaped and fed themselves to the wild cats outside of the house... sighhhh...
