Er....i think ur statement regarding soaking vege in salt water is wrong........ (no offence)
Actually, by soaking veges in salt water will actually lead to pesticide clotting. A lot of ppl thought that by soaking them into salt water, the pesticide can be washed out easily.
The actual fact is that, it will help the pesticide to bond on the vege even harder.
The best way is to wash the vege with the pesticide detergent thingy.
Another way is by washing them with flowing water. Meaning on the tap, let the water flush on the vege for some time. THis method waste water loh.....
Soaking the vege in the water will not help much.
Any corrections??

Jonker walk got WW meh? last time i also buy my campbell there. But Id visited there many times liao, no WW leh, only got RC, Syrians, scorpians, some food and bedding, cages, wheels, bottles.......
U sure that is WW or not??

Mayb bcoz of the bedding gua.....
Ur custom made cage looks nice, but the problem is the bedding will be kicked out often wor.....
Since ur hamster got bulu problem, try change to breeder celect see see, and u'll have a cleaner floor also wor......

Re Syrian : regarding the ous thing.....I din get that on my hamsters, so really dunno how to deal wif it. Since the pus is in the nose hole, u cant do much, cant apply any medicine. The best way is bring it to the vet loh................
R u using wire cage or tank? I think ur hamster got hurt while biting the wire cage, or mayb becoz of the bedding, sensitive nose loh......
So the best thing is change to a tank, try change the bedding also, see got improvement or not.
As long as its eating and playing actively, then its ok. If u notice that he is weak, lazy, not eating much, bring to vet loh...

actually hamster r fine to be kept alone, no food and fighting problem.
Just that the owner feels a bit boring looking at a single hamster in the cage, so thats some owners keep 2 or more in a single tank.....
But 1 should be fine also.

reason :
1. someone touch the babies.
2. the mother is too weak after giving birth
3. the babies are sick and dying
4. the mother feel unsecured (something or someone has frighten her)
5. not enuf food or water

I think thats all gua......

my niece's robos also like to bite other ppl, except her. If she put her hand near her, it will just sniff sniff, but still can hold it still. if i put my hand near it, it will bite! then run away like hell........
Robos are hard to handle, thats y i prefer WW and syrian. But robos' life span are longer....pros and cons loh........

THe petshop at sri kembangan do sells syrian, RM12 each. And WW is RM18 each, if buy two can bargain until RM30 a pair. Yes, the things' there are priced slightly higher, but can be bargained. I also visit that shop and bargain one, ahahaha...... as those like Pet's Family, Pet's Safari or ....... were located too far from Bkt Jalil...........
But honestly speaking, the syrians there are quite old i think, only a few of them are young, but the WW are still ok. Last nite I visit there also, saw that their WW are almos sold out, the left over one...better dun buy lah....
Anyway, do pay the shop a visit and see for yourself lah. And the auntie which jaga the shop one, is not the owner, and she just quit her job last week.....

The petshop at SK only sells Delikate and Habitrail. I personally prefer Habitrail coz it has less coloring. If u feed ur hamster wif delikate, u'll notice that they left the colorful biscuit out.........
Do post some pics on ur syrian lah.......

yaya, like everytime my females give birth to babies, they'll finish my pack of prestige very very fast.........but still feeding them with it, coz really notice the difference, will grow faster, chubbier, stronger.....

Those hamster are known as Russian Campell, have nice colors, but some of them a bit aggresive.
But the white one, got some issue on them, and very sad to hear about it. If u wanna know more, can google for RC breeding, those might be gene defect.....
