Lightning port is definitely easier as it was designed with that in mind, hell of a difference with usb port especially if u get too used to lightning.

Usb c ports you have to look when put in however the looseness has nothing to do with the port. You will have to change the cable. Not all usb cables are make the same. Some when fits in are very loose like protruding out and some when fits in despite giving a snug fit can't charge anymore especially when you are moving with it a lot.
*
both the laptop and usb cable (multi port adapter) i use are by apple. so in any case, i should claim warranty for either of these devices.

that's why i said, that's the nature of usb-c port, usb-a or lighting, no matter what brand or what cables u use, the experience is more or less same.

but usb-c the experience is terrible.

i said it become loose, because when i first use there is no such issues, so it is not about the make of the cable, but something has turned loose indeed after 10 months of usage. this is confirmed. becos it is not something loose all the time but it only happened now.

Shared is similar to your network in Windows machine.
Try checking your devices in your network with the name smobile.
It can also be your router machine.

Probable it is your P1 mobile broadband device, as suggested by the name smobile.

Not really. It depends on your device setting...

Guys, please comment on my usage behaviour. I used to stay in office much. Therefore whenever I at office. I'll plug in the power cable all the time even the battery is 100%, I'll unplug when I go toilet, lunch and home. Is this the correct way?

Don't worry about the battery. It can last over 1000 cycles and that by itself is a lot. I keep it on battery while using it at home as well.

Most owner here is w TB?
How is the experience so far? 30% Useful and 70% gimmick?
Contemplating the 2 choices.
Was thinking rather spend the extra 1k for accessories instead.

you not just paying rm 1k for the tb only.

i would opt for non tb but due to different of cpu speed and most importantly, no of usb c, i vote for tb.

absolutely gimmicky for me. I'm only using the touchID. Maybe i'm not a pro user.

Reason: It's distracting as you need to look down at the TB. Even keyboard I don't type fast, but I can touch type without looking down.

Don't think of the TB being 1k more. It's the CPU, more ports, graphics card, faster memory.

I tried the CPU, felt some slowness. Opted for the touchbar model instead.

However, if you could wait, why not wait longer if Apple decides to release newer models this year.

It boils down to what you gonna do with your MBP. I use nTB MBP. I'm not a programmer or do editing stuff. But i run W10 in virtualbox to run macro in excel sheet and Excel Force using Jave in IE. The MBP lags. The processor can't handle it. Even when on light usage on virtualbox, it's not smooth.

I'm still new to Max OS as well so i can't really say whether changing my virtualbox would make any difference. I sometimes play FM17 and the fan starts running not even 5mins after started. The graphic and processing speed is rated at 3/5 stars. Otherwise, for casual use with normal dropbox, evernote, Excel, Word, i have no complain.

For 1k difference, TB 13" looks better on paper though it's not that much. You pay for better processor, more ports (though i find 2 ports is sufficient)
