The normal one on i5 still can. Just expect full load. i7 first gen still better than current gen i5 for editing video and stuff.

Actually even the Macbook can edit 4k Video. It just depends on how "smooth" you want the experience to be. And don't need upgrade to i7 Processor, upgrade to the touchbar one will do and RAM if possible. The non touchbar i5 runs with 15W only, the touchbar model i5 runs at 28W, would provide better continuous performance

If you're not going to use final cut pro, might be better to look at Windows laptops, the Nvdia drivers are better optimised for adobe premiere pro and AE. A laptop with GTC1050 will run circles around a MBP 15 inch (AMD graphics) - the one I using.

The touch pad is because of the haptic engine imitating a sound and vibration, that's why u will feel it very obviously

For RM99, the price is okay, the material is good, but the precision disappointing.
It is not precisely fitted as it is advertised.

Their is the highest specced Macbook Pro, full with 2TB SSD as well. They also use Final Cut Pro to do the edits so for a Mac machine, that workflow works well.
