Check out PowerUp: The MacBook Charger That Does More on #indiegogo!
http://igg.me/at/homeypowerup/x/11924213

Anyone saw this? It's a power brick with USB type A ports. Not a bad option.

From the video, it seems like it. However, i think this charger benefits those that are using macbook pro 13 inches only, for macbook pro 15 inches, it will charge slower. I'm still juggling, as the connector they provide is to be use in the States. If we purchase it for malaysia, i guess we will need a multi national adapter.

Yes. Benefit those with 65W and lower which is 13" mbp. It does mention, the ac power adaptor can be selected and not just US based.

I got a 15inch one for one week and then I returned it because I think the space grey looks tacky. And now I ordered a silver one haha the return it's not 30 days but I think about 14.

Not a developer, can't say much bout how much the function key is going to matter but i believe if you use it long enough, you can touch type on it like how I could on an iphone.. just a little after a week i can already adjust brightness and volume without looking at it.
About the keyboard, its controversial, but it's by far the fastest and best keyboard I can type on. And i love the short travel.... it makes me type faster in one sense with lesser effort. My speed considerably improved to 86wpm lolol from 80 on the older MacBook pro

actually i dun really like the usb-c port design comparing to usb-a or lighting port. the usb-c port get lose overtime, and the cable is lossly connected and every now and then i get the issue of disconnection while the cable is physically connected by just accidentaly touch the usb-c device.

Does PowerUp work with my computer (i.e. 15" MacBook Pro)?

PowerUp is a USB-C type charger that was designed for the latest generation MacBook (2015+) and MacBook Pro (2016+). PowerUp has been rigorously tested with these computer models, including both the 13" and 15" versions of MacBook Pro!

Read through the description. Caveat was, it charges 15" at a much lower charge.

It is design prob. USB-c is quite similar lighting port but lighting port is much more easier to plug in and take out. And once plugged in, it is firmed and does not come easily.

USB-c when plug in must carefully point accurately only can plug in, and with this it also causes scratches easily. Even plugged in also come out easily with little movement.

Lightning port is definitely easier as it was designed with that in mind, hell of a difference with usb port especially if u get too used to lightning.

Usb c ports you have to look when put in however the looseness has nothing to do with the port. You will have to change the cable. Not all usb cables are make the same. Some when fits in are very loose like protruding out and some when fits in despite giving a snug fit can't charge anymore especially when you are moving with it a lot.
