Seem like Astro Wah Lai Toi change some on air look a bit(since HK DRAMA the hidden premiere on September last year), but not for the logo opening before show starts.(opening same as Astro Wah Lai Toi HD launched first day)

Don't know how long needs to wait for those exclusive channel would be on TV platform..

I'm actually worry with Astro now. They get more channels from HyppTV such as new addition Comedy Central. The question is when will Astro get their hand off with Disney, AXN, ONE & Cartoon Network to be made available on both Astro & HyppTV platform.



ONE HD already with Astro for 7 years. How long is exclusive contract Astro with ONE HD channel to expire soon.

Hopefully HyppTV can get Animax also. HyppTV still don't have atleast one anime channel.
Better add Animax HD in HyppTV platform.

Meanwhile in Indonesia Pay TV Skynindo have problem with their Palapa D satellite. And they announce will moved to other satellite.

Dont forget AOTG is FREE on a complimentary basis,for now the fee is waived until May 2017, you can see that in yr bill

I finally can watch all the channels in AOTG. This include K+ channels, Aniplus and even Sony ONE HD.

It's seems like broadcast war with HyppTV. But what I see from HyppTV, the resolutions video quality is much more clear than astro.

Agreed. TV3 in hypptv everywhere app is almost HD..
For astro GO, if you watch in 1Mbps speed, not only blurred, always video hang but got audio.

Ok. First video quality is bad. Now both Aniplus & Comedy Central is gone nowhere. Where this channel Astro? I don't see it in Astro Go app.

Yes, that is the problem.
I use my streamyx 1Mbps to watch, langsung tak boleh watch.

But if go for Unifi, no issued at all.
Somemore astro GO more clear video quality than normal astro TV.

Can ask people here, is it possible to watch free Astro channel without using wifi?

My friend told me he pay for some 3rd party decoder and able to watch free channel without paying subscription.

I only know of Android TV box but that needed an Internet connection.

Yes. Eg: *****x or *******x. Illegal to use. But cheaper than astro.

If you want to watch Astro (live TV channels) without Internet, then the regular Astro (using satellite dish) is the only option.

Simply means:
Watch Astro : without using Internet + no need to pay anything = not possible at all.

You mentioned "pay for some 3rd party decoder and able to watch free channel without paying subscription".
I think your friend is refers the "free channel" as receiving TV channels from other satellites. The channels offerings won't be exactly the same as what you see on on Astro.

Can share with us by asking your friend, what are the free channels he can watch by using the third party receiver? Using Astro dish or big parabolic dish? From there I might give you some advice.
