The astro portal seems like slightly update from their system. However, I realize that astro Njoi provide Freebies for certain channels. Did you guy saw for this? Is it really true free channels for this? And how long duration for this free channels?

I think astro unable to pay the cost for the newest and latest contents.
Some-more this OD is really useless, even give me free OD channel I also don't want.

I rather prefer astro could provide other oversea channels, but PLS don't give in-house channels and useless channels like Astro Xiao Tai Yan, Astro Shuang Xing, Astro Hua Hee and so on..

Oh ya, my favourite korea drama..
It almost a bit outdated after 3 months show this program in Malaysia..

Those Astro Tutor TV, Xiao Tai Yang all channels are cheapulak one. I can say it's totally useless and not a professional education channels.. Until now, these few channels haven't been ceased operation.
I believe that still have few demand to watch those kinds of channels..

Fox movies Premium HD is belongs to Fox network group
HBO HD is belongs to Time Warner

There is nothing related to Astro Best.
I think you mention Astro Best will publish during the new international movies just taken down from local cinema.


I never heard there's astro in schools.. Is it you say physical schools? If is channels schools. that's totally wasted resources.
But I know TM have physical schools which called TM university...


Seriously, there is no student will watch astro.. somemore need to pay 42+/monthly including these few education channels.. I suggest u rather spend slight higher amount go to tuition school learn something new.

What I realized that the astro cut the ads really unprofessional.. especially if you got watch Fox Movies Premium or HBO... The above small timing will announce remain how many minutes/seconds (If you have realize) will start to broadcast that movie..

But normally less than 2 or 3 minutes, astro will cut off those fox movies advertising, and broadcast in-house or local ads... These local ads will broadcast more than 3 or 4 minutes and then only start the movie show..

Yeah, the ads should be show any carton network / disney /Nickelodeon ads while you switch channels Animax. Each channels should be category...

Watch animax - ads either animax itself / disney ads / carton network ads... (Or introduce something kids food or kids event)

Watch fox movies - ads new movies launch in local cinema / hbo movies ads (Or introduce new luxury car / motobikes / any new products such as smartphones like professional one)

Watch chinese channels - ads should be all chinese... (But sometimes suddenly show India ads there.. ) Totally don't know this astro staff doing...

It's seems like astro don't know how to category the ads, macam copy n paste the ads video simply every channels... I think got brainless advertiser staff in astro... That why comes like this quality...

I think they will purposely install astro, due to sometimes new customers/parents sit in the meeting room to watch channels temporary (to avoid boring during waiting time) while waiting for teachers/tutors come to meeting room for further discuss regarding your kid's thing.

Imagine you watch kids channels such as carton network or animax, and broadcast astro boo ads for the break time. U see how?

I'm sure got "rich" people complain and shoot to MCMC in-proper broadcast the ads in wrong channels.

This is not consider free upgrade one loh, some more is 'refurbished' set, not new set at all one. In simple, is recycle set. Lol..

If astro force those old existing customers (who use existing legacy set up box) replace to new astro beyond decoder, sure some of customers sure terminate one.

Coz the new decoder must attached with smart card. Meaning that if you use the particular smart card to another decoder device, it won't work at all.

Astro is kinda noob and no proper system especially for njoi plan. I even email to astro.. If the njoi decoder faulty in the future, customers cannot purchase the replacement of new decoder. In fact, astro request us to subscribe purely new njoi package.

It kinda duplicate new njoi account again n again until around 3 or 4 njoi plan. Don't you think feel lebih?

But I have semi problem for njoi decoder, it is dmt4 decoder. Sometimes it hang either unable display the video but have sound or decoder does not display channel info.

Is this consider a problem for the decoder?

Today I just by pass the road and saw the Astro Miri here.
I just walk in to pay the astro bill and saw the terminal machine all "temporary down".

Go to counter to make payment and the astro staff need to "verify" the IC owner 1st before make a payment.
Do you all come across for this to verify?

I just feel curious customers have money to pay your bill, but why need IC to verify before make payment?

You're right, I can pay it online.
However, I just by-pass the highway and saw astro branch not very far at there. So I just pusing inside the shoplot and pay the bill sekali.

So back home I not need to log-in astro portal (stupid slow portal) to pay the bill.
I won't be sign up auto debit for this monopoly company and not believe their bill system.
So normally I pay accurate amount to them.

I don't use the bank CDM, coz can't get cash rebate if I use credit card.

There is only 1 choice you PM to astro Malaysia by facebook by providing your astro account number, smart card number and full name (if I'm not wrong)

The responding time depend because sure a lot of people inquiry and complain previous month, so normally astro customer service need to follow up for that 1st..
